Windscreen wiper and a motor vehicle comprising such windscreen wiper
The present invention relates to a motor vehicle's windscreen wiper, that includes a wiper blade and driving system; where the driving system includes a wiper motor, a wheel plate that pivots about a central rotational axis; where the wheel plate's angular position is associated with the wiper blade's angular position; where a parking cam on the wheel is associated with two parking contact springs with parking electrodes that press against the wheel plate surface under a resilient bias of the parking contact spring; where a parking trace is defined by a track slid by the parking electrode on the wheel plate during the wheel plate's rotation such that distances between the contact spring parking electrodes and the wheel plate's central rotation axis is substantially equal to each other such that traces of the parking electrodes generally coincide with each other; where the invention further includes a single-trace parking cam consisting of only one arc-segment such that the parking trace substantially follows a center arc by; where application of the single-trace cam is able to achieve the wiper parking function of the windscreen wiper in a compact and cost-effective manner.
CLEANING DEVICE FOR AN OPTICAL SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a device for cleaning at least one optical surface of a vehicle, including at least one rod which extends mainly along a longitudinal elongation axis. The rod including an element for spraying a cleaning fluid and a wiper blade configured to wipe the optical surface. The device further including at least one actuation means driven to move the rod in a first longitudinal direction of movement parallel to the longitudinal elongation axis, and in a second longitudinal direction of movement opposite to the first longitudinal direction of movement. The device additionally includes at least one means for limiting and/or compensating for at least one return force exerted on the rod.
Systems and methods for calibrating a windshield wiper system
A method of calibrating a windshield wiper system that includes moving a wiper arm, of the windshield wiper system, within at least a portion of a full range of motion defined by at least one physical boundary, determining a position of the wiper arm when it contacts the at least one physical boundary, defining, based on the determined position of the wiper arm, an operating range of motion for the wiper arm that is shorter than the full range of motion, and setting the wiper arm to operate within the defined operating range of motion.
DUAL ACTION WIPER SYSTEM
A wiper system for a vehicle is provided. The wiper system includes a driving assembly. The wiper system further includes a supplementary wiper having a first end that is coupled to a first pivot point of the driving assembly. When the wiper system is activated, the driving assembly is configured to swing the supplementary wiper about the first pivot point from a resting position to an extended position. The supplementary wiper is configured to be statically disposed at the extended position to prevent water from passing over one of two A-pillars of the vehicle to a side window of the vehicle. When the wiper system is deactivated, the driving assembly is configured to stow the supplementary wiper back from the extended position to the resting position.
Wiper device
A wiper device including a wiper member that includes a wiper arm to which a wiper blade is coupled, a base end portion of the wiper arm being supported by a support section provided at a vehicle, and the wiper member being configured to of undergo displacement relative to the vehicle, a drive wheel that is rotatably supported by the wiper member at a position of the wiper member which is separated from the support section, and that rolls across a running face provided at the vehicle so as to displace the wiper member relative to the vehicle, and a motor that is supported by the wiper member so as to undergo displacement together with the wiper member, and that drives rotation of the drive wheel.

Wiper drive device
A wiper drive device includes: a drive member that is configured to cause a wiper blade to wipe a region of a windshield as a wiping operation, the region of the windshield including a to-be-imaged region of the windshield, the to-be-imaged region being included in a field of view of a camera which images a predefined imaging range near a vehicle through the windshield; and a stop section that is configured to stop the wiper blade in an outside region in response to that an anomaly that hinders the wiping operation occurs while the drive member causes the wiper blade to perform the wiping operation on the windshield, the outside region being a region of the windshield outside of the to-be-imaged region.
DIRECT DRIVE FOR A WINDSHIELD WIPER SYSTEM
Provided are embodiments for a direct drive wiper system. The system includes a motor that is operably coupled to a wiper system to drive one or more wiper arms of the wiper system, and a gearbox, wherein an input to the gearbox is coupled to the motor and an output of the gearbox is coupled to the wiper assembly, wherein the gearbox is configured to convert an input from the motor to an output to drive the wiper system. The system also includes a brake and stopper mechanism that is coupled to the gearbox and the wiper system. Also provided are embodiments for a method for operating the direct drive wiper system.

Wiper device
A wiper device that includes: a first control section that, during intermittent operation, controls power supply to a drive source such that a wiper blade wipes to-and-fro between a first return position and a second return position on a windshield and stops moving for a predetermined duration at the first return position, and that performs position retention control that controls power supply to the drive source such that the stopped wiper blade is retained at a position at which the wiper blade is stopped; and a second control section that suspends the position retention control by the first control section in a case in which a current flowing in the drive source is detected to have increased by a predetermined value or greater while the wiper blade moves toward the first return position within a predetermined region in a vicinity of the first return position.
