A windscreen wiper device of the flat blade type having an elastic, elongated carrier element and an elongated wiper blade of a flexible material, adapted to be placed in abutment with a windscreen to be wiped. The wiper blade includes at least one longitudinal slit, in which at least one longitudinal strip of the carrier element is disposed. The windscreen wiper device comprises an oscillating arm having a rod-like extension, a connecting device and a nozzle for spraying a washing liquid onto the windscreen to be wiped. The connecting device includes a channel adapted to receive a free end of the rod-like extension. The nozzle is adapted to be mounted onto the rod-like extension. The nozzle and the connecting device are provided with mutually cooperating protrusion/groove means for locking the nozzle onto the connecting device upon insertion of the free end of the rod-like extension inside the channel of the connecting device.

It is proposed that the wiper device (10a-10c) comprise a fluid supply unit (38a-38c) which is configured to supply wiper fluid to the channel unit (18a-18c) and comprises at least one coupling end piece (40a-40c) for latching connection to the at least one adapter attachment (24a-24c).

Windshield wiper-attachment device having a safety position, connector and adapter for such a device, and wiping system comprising said attachment device

The invention relates to a device for attaching a windshield wiper blade to a drive arm of a wiping system. The device comprises a connector attached to the blade and an adapter (9) for connecting the connector to the arm, said adapter (9) including holding means (20) for holding same in a nominal locking position on the arm. According to the invention, the connector and/or the adapter (9) comprise safety means (70) that allow the arm to be retained in the nominal locking position upon failure of the holding means (20), said safety means (70) being configured to allow the adapter (9) to be mounted on and/or removed from the arm during nominal operation. The invention also relates to such a connector and such an adapter, as well as to a wiping system comprising such an attachment device.

Wiper blade

A wiper blade suitable to three types of wiper arms. A connector assembly of the wiper blade is detachably connected to wiper arms having first to third coupling units at a distal end respectively. The connector assembly has an adaptor and a slide cover slidably joined to the adaptor. The slide cover is moved to the adaptor in a first movement direction to fix the first to third coupling units to the adaptor and is moved from the adaptor in a second movement direction opposite to the first movement direction to release fixation between the coupling units and the adaptor. The adaptor has a support protrusion supporting support surfaces of the first to third coupling units. The slide cover has a push surface contacting the contact surfaces of the first to third coupling units to push the first to third coupling units towards the support protrusion of the adaptor.

Windscreen wiper device

The wiper device includes a connecting assembly with a base and a joint part. The joint part is made as one integral piece and includes a main body portion and a nose portion. The main body portion is generally extends longitudinally from a front end to a back end and has a top and a pair of sides. A resilient tongue is formed into the top and has a button. The nose portion is connected with the front end of the main body portion at a resilient hinge and includes a pair of locking tangs that are spaced vertically from the resilient hinge. A pair of locking lugs extend from the back end of the main body portion opposite of the nose portion. The sides of the main body portion present a pair of ledges which are spaced vertically from one another to present a groove between said ledges.

Rear beam arm and blade assembly

A stepped-designed beam arm wiper assembly has a beam arm that locks into a mounting head such that the beam arm can be disconnected from the mounting head for servicing a wiper blade attached to the beam arm. A head cover is attached to the mounting head via hinges on either side of the head cover which allow the head cover to open off the head on either pin hinges of the head, and can be pressed onto the head and retained on. The other end of the beam arm is inserted into an adapter which snaps onto a rear wiper blade coupler via lead-in hole and trunnion connection. The beam arm has an airfoil with a stepped design to match the head cover, adapter, and blade assembly stepped design.
