Windshield wiper arm adapter, coupler and assembly
An adapter that connects with a coupler for a wiper element is configured to connect with a plurality of different wiper arms each having a different wiper arm style. The adapter can be a one-piece body or a multi-piece body having a cavity and openings for receiving distal ends or distal end features of each of the plurality of different wiper arms. The adapter can also include different tabs for engaging with openings, notches or other components on distal ends of each of the plurality of different wiper arms.
Windshield wiper device
The invention relates to a windshield wiper device (10a; 10b) for a windshield wiper (12a; 12b), comprising at least one wiper arm adapter (14a; 14b), at least one wiper blade adapter (16a; 16b), and a heating unit (18a; 18b) for heating a wiper blade (20a; 20b) and/or a spray unit (22a; 22b) for spraying a wash fluid onto a vehicle windshield, wherein the spray unit (22a; 22b) and/or the heating unit (18a; 18b) is/are at least partly arranged in the wiper blade adapter (16a; 16b). The wiper arm adapter (14a; 14b) and the wiper blade adapter (16a; 16b) have coupling elements (24a, 26a; 24b, 26b) which are provided for laterally coupling the wiper arm adapter (14a; 14b) to the wiper blade adapter (16a; 16b).
WIPER BLADE CONNECTOR
A wiper blade connector for connecting a wiper blade to a wiper arm, has: an adaptor secured to an end of the wiper arm; a base secured to the wiper blade; a locking member operatively mounted to one of the adaptor and the base and movable relative to the one of the adaptor and the base between a locked position and an unlocked position, the adaptor secured to the base via the locking member in the locked position, the adaptor detachable from the base in the unlocked position; a user-engageable member operatively connected to the locking member, the user-engageable member movable to move the locking member from the locked position to the unlocked position to detach the adaptor from the base.
DEVICE FOR CONNECTING A WIPER BLADE TO A DRIVING ARM
A connection device (1) for connecting a wiper blade to a driving arm for a vehicle is disclosed. At least one connector is configured to be secured to the wiper blade. The connection device (1) comprises a base adapter (25) and at least one complementing adapter (26, 27), this base adapter (25) being equipped with at least one pivot member (50) connecting it to the connector (24), the base adapter (25) being configured to connect this connector (24) to a first type of driving arm, the base adapter (25) bearing at least one reference, the complementing adapter (26, 27) bearing at least one marking, a combination of the base adapter (25) and the complementing adapter (26, 27) generating a code visually associated with another type of driving arm, different from the first type of driving arm, from a combination of the reference and the marking.
Windshield wiper connector
A windshield wiper connector is disclosed for connecting a variety of wiper arms with a wiper blade. The connector may include a rotating cap as well as an adapter. The adapter may be inserted into a trapezoidal groove, and the adapter may have a pin passage for receiving a pin from a wiper arm. The groove may receive a trapezoidal roller from a wiper arm. The connector may include a channel, and a bayonet style wiper arm may be secured in the channel as well as by the cap and by a pillar projecting from the channel. Other similar wiper arms may be connected with a wiper blade using the disclosed inventive concepts. A wiper blade assembly having a wiper strip, a force distribution structure, and a connector is also disclosed.
COVER FOR WIPER SYSTEM CONNECTION DEVICE
The invention relates to a cover (223) for a connection device designed to be rotatably mounted on an adapter (220) of the connection device, the cover (223) extending mainly between a first end (231) and a second end (232), the first end (231) comprising at least one bearing (235) designed to cooperate with a rod (228) of the adapter (220), the cover (223) being configured to be closed in a first direction of rotation (S1) and to be opened in a second direction of rotation (S2), characterised in that the bearing (235) comprises at least one tab (250) designed to allow the bearing (235) to be disengaged from the rod (228) of the adapter (220), in the first direction of rotation (Si).
