WINDSHIELD WIPER FLUID DISPENSING SYSTEM
An aircraft windshield wiper system includes a wiper arm, a wiper blade coupled to a first end of the wiper arm, and an output shaft coupled to a second end of the wiper arm. The wiper blade includes a fluid dispensing system including nozzles, a fluid control unit, fluid lines, fluid source, and a user interface. The wiper blade with the fluid dispensing system is configured to dispense a variety of fluids directly from the wiper blade onto the windshield of an aircraft.
WIPER CONTROL APPARATUS
When an ECU 41 for wiper motor detects that a SP operation has been carried out in the midst of swinging motion of a wiper blade, the ECU 41 for wiper motor outputs a motor stopping signal to an ECU 42 for washer pump. When the ECU 42 for washer pump receives the motor stopping signal, the ECU 42 for washer pump stops a washer pump 30 even if an injection switch for jetting out washer fluid is on. In this manner, when a wiper blade is stopped from being swung for replacement of the wiper member, the pump for causing washer fluid to jet out is stopped. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the waste of washer fluid, and to further save washer fluid.
Motor vehicle windscreen wiper windscreen washer liquid distribution system
A motor vehicle windscreen wiper windscreen washer liquid distribution system including a windscreen washer liquid distribution network is disclosed. The windscreen washer liquid distribution network includes at least one hydraulic pipe including at least one windscreen washer liquid circulation passage, at least one hydraulic connector connected to the circulation passage, and at least one thermally conductive member in thermal contact with the at least one hydraulic connector and with a heating element of the distribution system.
WIPER MOTOR AND WIPING APPARATUS FOR WIPING A VEHICLE WINDOW
The invention relates to a wiper motor (10), with an output shaft (11) which rotates in exclusively one direction (12) and is designed at least indirectly to move at least one wiper blade (1) between two reversal positions (A, B). According to the invention, it is provided that the wiper motor (10) has means (30) which are designed at least indirectly to activate a pump (25) for conveying a cleaning fluid in such a manner that cleaning fluid can be applied to a vehicle window (2) exclusively in front of the wiper blade (1) in the respective wiping direction.
ELECTRIC DUAL-MODE WIPER SYSTEM FOR RAILWAY VEHICLES
Provided is an electric dual-mode wiper system for a railway vehicle. The electric dual-mode wiper system for a railway vehicle includes a first wiper drive unit and a second wiper drive unit, and controls a synchronization operation of the first wiper drive unit and a second wiper drive unit.
Device and method for wiping and/or cleaning a glazed surface of a vehicle using an active liquid
The invention relates to a device for wiping and cleaning a glazed surface (S) of an automotive vehicle, comprising at least: —one direct current electric motor (7) rotating in a single direction and capable of moving at least one “wiper arm” unit (BB) formed by a drive arm (1) and a wiper blade (2) by means of a linkage (14), said “wiper arm” unit being moved according to an angular reciprocating movement between a rest position (11) and an end position (12) opposite the rest position (11) in relation to an angular sector (13) on the glazed surface (S), —a device (15) for dispensing an active liquid on the glazed surface (S), the active liquid preferably being a de-icing liquid or an insect-removing liquid, —a control means (10) configured to control, on the one hand, the operation of the motor (7) in order to stop the “wiper arm” unit (BB) for a non-zero duration and, on the other hand, the dispensing of the active liquid by the dispensing device (15). The invention also relates to a wiping and cleaning method implementing such a device.
VEHICLE-MOUNTED SENSOR CLEANING DEVICE AND VEHICLE-MOUNTED SENSOR CLEANING SYSTEM
A vehicle-mounted sensor cleaning device includes first and second air jetting devices configured to remove adhered material (such as raindrops and mist particles) that has adhered to detector faces of sensors configured to detect information regarding surroundings of a vehicle, and a control ECU configured to operate air pumps of the first and second air jetting devices when a wiper device of the vehicle has been actuated.
Windscreen washer system
A windscreen washer system for vehicles, in particular for motor vehicles, including at least one rainwater collection element connected to at least one suction pump for collecting rainwater and conveying the same to a collection tank connected in turn to a pump for delivering windscreen washer fluid where the rainwater collection element is integrated in at least one wiper blade.
Vehicle windshield cleaning system
Apparatus for providing heated cleaning fluid to a vehicle surface includes an inlet port for receiving an amount of fluid, a housing bounding a reservoir in fluid communication with the inlet port, and an outlet port in fluid communication with the reservoir for dispensing an amount of heated fluid. A heater element heats fluid passing from the inlet port to the outlet port through the reservoir. A heat exchanger in thermal contact with the heater element for conveying heat to fluid within the reservoir has a strut that divides fluid entering the housing through the inlet port into two flow paths and elongated fins extending outwardly from the strut at transverse angles that bound fluid flow channels for fluid moving through the reservoir. A control circuit energizes the heater element to heat the heating element and the fluid passing from the inlet port to the outlet port through the reservoir.
SENSOR ASSEMBLY WITH CLEANING
Upon determining an autonomous mode for a vehicle is activated, a motor is actuated to move a wiper across a windshield in a low mode based on determining to clean the windshield. A blower is actuated to direct air across a sensor. Then, after expiration of a first timer, a pump is actuated according to a pressure threshold to direct fluid through a fluid nozzle and across the windshield towards the sensor. The pressure threshold specifies a fluid pressure less than a maximum fluid pressure for the pump. The pump is stopped after expiration of a second timer.
