BRAKING SYSTEM FOR VEHICLES WITH COLLAPSIBLE ACTUATION PEDAL AND METHOD OF ACTUATION OF A BRAKING SYSTEM IN THE EVENT OF AN IMPACT
A braking system for vehicles with collapsible actuation pedal may have an operating pedal operatively connected to a hydraulic pump having a delivery circuit fluidically connected to an accumulator device. The delivery circuit may have a hydraulic branch equipped with at least one normally closed control valve. The control valve may be connected to a control actuator which commands its opening when an impact or accident is detected by an appropriate detector or the control valve may be calibrated to open automatically when a limit pressure and/or flow rate value is reached in the hydraulic branch following the lowering of the actuation pedal.
Pressure Control Method and Pressure Control Device for Braking Cylinder of Rail Vehicle, And Rail Vehicle
Disclosed are a pressure control method and a pressure control device for a braking cylinder of a rail vehicle, and the rail vehicle. The method includes the following steps: acquiring the air charge-release volume of the braking cylinder of the rail vehicle and the air flowrate of the braking cylinder; determining the charge-release duration according to the air charge-release volume of the braking cylinder and the air flowrate of the braking cylinder, and controlling the charge-release working duration of the air charge-release solenoid valve according to the air charge-release duration; when the working duration of the air charge-release solenoid valve reaches the charge-release duration, acquiring the predictive pressure of the braking cylinder, and controlling the working state of the air charge-release solenoid valve according to the predictive pressure.
Disc brake, disc brake system, and parking brake system
The invention relates to a disc brake, comprising a brake carrier, a brake caliper, brake shoes, and an actuating piston. The brake carrier has at least one mounting point for mounting on a vehicle. The actuating piston is displaceably accommodated on the brake caliper and is actuatable for carrying out a service brake function of the disc brake. At least one further actuating piston is provided, which in the direction of its longitudinal axis is displaceably accommodated on the brake caliper. For carrying out the service brake function, the at least two actuating pistons are actuatable, and for carrying out a parking brake function, one of the actuating pistons is actuatable. The invention further relates to a disc brake system and a parking brake system.
BRAKE PEDAL ASSEMBLY, BRAKE APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE INCLUDING THE SAME, AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
Disclosed are a brake pedal assembly, a braking apparatus, and a control method, where the brake pedal assembly includes a pedal, a stroke sensor configured to detect a depression stroke of the pedal, Hall sensors spaced apart from each other in a direction parallel to an operation direction of the pedal, and a controller configured to determine the depression stroke of the pedal using any one or any combination of the stroke sensor and the Hall sensors and to determine a required braking force of a vehicle, in response to the depression stroke of the pedal.
Reverse modulation valve assembly including deadband state
A valve assembly is provided. The valve assembly includes a valve body defining a bore. The valve assembly further includes a pull rod disposed in the bore and defining a bolt cavity. The pull rod is moveable between a first pull rod position and a second pull rod position. The valve assembly further includes a bolt disposed in the bolt cavity and moveable with respect to the pull rod between a first bolt position and a second bolt position. The valve assembly further includes a spool disposed in the bore. The spool is operatively coupled to the pull rod to move between an energized position and a neutral position.
Hydraulic arrangement for tractor-trailer brake hydraulic circuits
