Hydraulic braking energy utilization for emergency steering, braking, charging accumulator(s), and/or work functions to reduce or prevent engine from overspeed, assist acceleration and/or unlimited towing
A system and method configured to direct the braking energy from a high-pressure port at the motor side of a hydraulic circuit to emergency steering, braking, accumulator(s) charging, and/or various work functions. The system and method are also configured to return hydraulic fluid back to the same high-pressure port when the motor is running as a pump.
HYDRAULIC BRAKING ARRANGEMENT FOR OFF-ROAD VEHICLES
A hydraulic braking arrangement for controlling front and rear brakes of an off-road vehicle, includes a power brake valve fluidly interposed between rear brakes and a first source of fluid in pressure of vehicle. The power brake valve is configured to selectively allow passage of fluid coming from first source to rear brakes. The power brake valve is further configured to provide at least a hydraulic signal configured to control a relay valve fluidly interposed between front brakes and a second source of fluid in pressure of the vehicle and being configured to selectively allow passage of fluid coming from second source to front brakes in function of the at least one hydraulic signal.
Vehicle brake device
A vehicle brake device includes a hydraulic pressure generating device, a valve device, a pump and an accumulation section forming an accumulation chamber connected to a fluid passage between the valve device and the hydraulic pressure generating device or to a master chamber. A dead band is set in which the change of force of the magnitude corresponding to the hydraulic pressure in the master chamber does not substantially act on a brake operating member. A characteristic representing the relation between the pressure and the brake fluid quantity in the accumulation chamber is set based on a characteristic representing the relation between the pressure and the brake fluid quantity in a wheel cylinder and the dead band so that, when brake fluid is flowing into and from the accumulation chamber, a force of the magnitude corresponding to the master chamber hydraulic pressure does not act on the brake operating member.
Hydraulic control system
A hydraulic control system for control of a hydraulic motor. The hydraulic control system comprises a fluid distribution assembly having a tank, a pump to pump fluid from the tank and a directional valve for distributing pressurised fluid from the pump and to return fluid to the tank; a valve assembly fluidly connected to the directional valve, the valve assembly having a first overcenter valve and a pressure reducing valve wherein a first main line connects the directional valve to the first overcenter valve and wherein a shuttle line connects the pressure reducing valve to the first main line; a hydraulic motor fluidly connected to the valve assembly wherein the first main line connects the hydraulic motor to the first overcenter valve; and a brake assembly fluidly connected to the pressure reducing valve, wherein a drain line connects the pressure reducing valve to the hydraulic motor.
HYDRAULIC BLOCK OF ELECTRONIC BRAKING DEVICE FOR VEHICLE
