A control apparatus for controlling a brake system for a vehicle, including: an actuable control valve for loading at least one brake device of the brake system with a brake pressure; a pressure container connector for connecting the control apparatus to a pressure container to provide a supply pressure; and a pressure limiting valve which is arranged or can be arranged between the control valve and the pressure container connector to limit the supply pressure to the brake pressure. Also described are a related brake system, a method for operating, a method for loading, a control unit, and a computer readable medium.
Electric component assembly, and brake fluid pressure control device for vehicle
An electric component assembly includes a housing with which an electric component is fitted together, and the electric component and the housing are fixed to one side of a base body. The electric component includes a connecting terminal configured to be press-fitted in a through-hole of the control board of the housing, and a direction in which the connecting terminal is inserted into the through-hole is same as a fitting direction relative to the housing. There are provided a rib protruding from one of the electric component and the housing, and a groove portion recessed from another one of the electric component and the housing and into which the rib is press-fitted. Movement of the electric component in a direction intersecting the fitting direction and rotation of the electric component around an axis parallel to the fitting direction are restrained by the rib press-fitted into the groove portion.
BISTABLE CONTROL VALVE FOR MAINTAINING FLUID PRESSURE IN A PARKING BRAKE SYSTEM
A parking brake system is disclosed and includes a parking brake valve configured to maintain a fluid pressure of the parking brake system and one or more pressure transducers that monitor the fluid pressure of the parking brake system. The parking brake system also includes a bistable control valve fluidly connected to the parking brake valve, one or more processors in electronic communication with the bistable control valve, the parking brake valve, and the one or more pressure transducers, and a memory coupled to the one or more processors. The memory stores data comprising a database and program code that, when executed by the one or more processors, causes the parking brake system to instruct the bistable control valve to actuate into the opened position when the fluid pressure of the parking brake system is less than a threshold pressure.

METHOD FOR OPERATING A PRESSURE CONTROL DEVICE, AND PRESSURE CONTROL DEVICE FOR CARRYING OUT THE METHOD
A method for operating a pressure control device in a vehicle, in particular in a motor vehicle, wherein current is supplied by an energy source of the vehicle for operating the pressure control device, as a result of which the pressure control device carries out at least one pressure control function, for which at least two actuators of the pressure control device are actuated, wherein at least one current required at maximum for actuating the actuator is determined for each actuator and current budget management for actuating the actuators and/or for carrying out the pressure control functions is performed by the determined currents required at maximum. In addition, the invention relates to a pressure control device for carrying out the method.
Method for Switching Over a Solenoid Valve
A method for switching over a solenoid valve having a movable valve body between a first position and a second position, wherein the method comprises at least the following method steps: a) adjusting a switching current to a pre-energization current intensity, in which the valve body remains in the present position, for a first time interval, and b) adjusting the switching current to a first switchover current intensity, which introduces a switchover movement of the valve body, for a second time interval.
CAR CONTROL DEVICE WAKE UP FOR ELECTRICALLY CONTROLLED PNEUMATIC TRAIN BRAKING SYSTEMS
A system for waking up a dormant car control device of rail car braking system that provides a sufficient wake up voltage in response to pressurization of the brake pipe of the transit car. A supercapacitor is used to output a predetermined voltage when a pressure switch responsive to a source of brake pipe pressure moves to a closed position in response to a charging of the brake system. A first circuit boosts the predetermined voltage of the supercapacitor and energized the contacts of a relay that can selectively provide the boosted voltage to an input of a car control device. A second circuit controls the relay to select when boosted voltage should be provided to the input of a car control device. A third circuit selectively provides power to the first and second circuits based on whether the car control device should receive the boosted voltage.
