ENGAGEMENT STRUCTURE OF PUSH-ROD GUIDE AND PUSH-ROD GUIDE COVER OF BRAKE CHAMBER FOR VEHICLE
The present disclosure relates to an engagement structure of a push rod guide and a push rod guide cover of a brake chamber for a vehicle, in which a pair of semi-circular, hingedly connected, half members in a shape of a plate are assembled at a side surface of axial direction of the push rod into a shape of a disk, a push rod opening is formed at the center of the disk to guide a movement of the push rod, a protrusion projecting upwards is provided at a central part of the push rod guide, forming a step in a radial direction of the push rod guide, and a receiving groove corresponding to the step is formed on an inner circumferential surface of the push rod guide cover and is connected to the step.
BRAKE APPARATUS AND INSTALLATION METHOD THEREOF
According to at least one aspect, the present disclosure provides a brake apparatus comprising: a cylinder body; a fixing part comprising one or more screw fastening holes so as to be coupled to the cylinder body; and a mounting part installed at the cylinder body or the fixing part so that the cylinder body is mounted to the fixing part.
According to another aspect, the present disclosure provides a brake apparatus comprising: a cylinder body; a bracket formed on one side of the cylinder body; a fixing part comprising one or more screw fastening holes so as to be coupled to the bracket; and a mounting part formed in the cylinder body or the bracket so that the cylinder body is mounted to the fixing part.
SPRING BRAKE ACTUATOR
A spring brake actuator has a combined housing including a first housing, a second housing, and connection part connecting the first housing and the second housing. Gas inlet ports are disposed along the circumference of the combined housing in a gas inlet port section. A mechanical connection section is disposed in the same axial space as the gas inlet portion section. A bayonet connection is arranged in the mechanical connection section, with gas inlet ports disposed between the bayonet elements. Port connectors may extend through recesses or holes and be threaded into the gas inlet ports, and which may block the bayonet connection and block relative rotation between the first and second housings. The connection part may include a ring shaped protrusion form fit with a protruding of the second housing, with the bayonet elements disposed at the opposite end of the connection part engaged with the first housing.
Support structure for brake fluid pressure generation device
Provided is a support structure for a plurality of electrically actuated brake fluid pressure generation devices provided in a vehicle in which automated driving is enabled, the brake fluid pressure generation devices being configured to generate brake fluid pressure. The support structure includes a support member (a first bracket, a second bracket, and an actuator bracket) via which a brake actuator and a brake unit are supported by frame members forming a storage chamber separated from a vehicle cabin. The support member is supported by the frame members at two points. The brake actuator and the brake unit are mechanically connected to each other via the support member.
Splined drum and electric motor engagement assembly
The rotor of an electric motor unit has a web portion partially enclosing the remainder of the unit and terminating in a circumferentially extending rim. The brake drum defines an engagement surface for drum brake linings, and has an outboard end defining a flange securable to the wheel hub. The brake drum also includes an open inboard end, partly covered over by a dust guard, and a circumferential wall extending between the outboard and inboard ends and surrounding the engagement surface. By way of keys and slots or recesses, a reinforcing ring interlocks the circumferentially extending rim of the web portion and the circumferential brake drum wall. The reinforcing ring is secured to the circumferentially extending rim and to the wall of the brake drum at a location disposed axially between the rim of the web portion and the brake drum lining engagement surface.
HOUSING DEVICE AND PLUNGER FOR A BRAKE DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE, BRAKE DEVICE AND METHOD FOR OPERATING A BRAKE DEVICE
A housing device for a brake device for a vehicle, including: a piston chamber for accommodating a plunger, which is movable linearly in the piston chamber by an actuation by a driver; and a sensor chamber, which is separated from the piston chamber, and which includes a sensor unit, which is configured to detect a position and/or a movement of the plunger in the piston chamber, to effect a braking operation of the vehicle. Also described are a related plunger, a brake device, a method, an apparatus, and a computer readable medium.
Vehicle component impact deflector
A deflection assembly for a vehicle including a vehicle component to be fastened or connected to a vehicle body. A connecting member extends through the vehicle component in an axial direction and is used for fastening the vehicle component to the vehicle body. A fastener is arranged on the connecting member axially in front of the vehicle component. To optimize a deformation zone of the motor vehicle a deflection element is arranged on the connecting rod axially in front of the nut. The deflection element having, in one disclosed example, a cross-section that increases at least in sections in axial direction towards the vehicle component. In addition, the deflection element may include an outer surface extending obliquely to the axial direction of the connecting member.
Service Brake Device with Quick Air Release Valve
A service brake device for vehicles is provided which permits rapid venting of a service brake pressure chamber. The service brake device includes at least one pneumatic service brake device with at least one piston and/or a diaphragm. The piston and/or diaphragm delimits the service brake pressure chamber on one side which can be supplied with compressed air from a brake line for applying the service brake and can be purged of compressed air for releasing the service brake, delimits a spring chamber on the other side which receives a spring that prestresses the piston and/or the diaphragm in the release position of the service brake. The pressure chamber includes a pressure connection communicating with the brake line. A quick air release valve between the brake line and the pressure chamber is arranged to connect the brake line to the pressure chamber when the pressure in the brake chamber is greater than in the pressure chamber, and to connect the pressure chamber to the spring chamber when the pressure in the pressure chamber is greater than the brake line pressure.
Automatic Vehicle Air Brake Pushrod Stroke Measuring System
A system, method, and apparatus for vehicle brake monitoring are disclosed. An example method includes receiving three dimensional imagery of a vehicle brake and recording, via a digital interface card, the imagery with and without the brake applied. The method also includes processing, via a processor, the digital imagery samples into a real-world distance measurement of brake components with and without the brake applied. The method further includes applying, via the processor, feature matching to compare the brake component travel distance with at least one measurement recorded previously and stored in a database. The method moreover includes, conditioned on significant changes from that previously recorded measurements, transmitting via the processor, an alert that problems may exist with the sampled vehicle brake.
