A parking brake control device, including: a base attached to the vehicle body; a lever body rotatable with respect to the base and including a tubular handle portion; a ratchet gear formed on the base; a pawl rotatable with respect to the lever body and engaging with the ratchet gear to regulate rotation of the lever body; a release knob protruding from an end of the handle portion; a compression coil spring positioned inside the handle portion, the spring having a first end and a second end, wherein the compression coil spring at the first end urges the release knob outward of the handle portion; and a release rod inserted through the compression coil spring, with one end attached to the release knob, and another end connected to the pawl, wherein pushing in the release knob causes the release rod to rotate the pawl to disengage from the ratchet gear.

A parking brake apparatus of a vehicle, includes: a support plate fixed on a vehicle; a ratchet including a gear unit including a plurality of teeth and provided adjacent to the support plate; an operation lever connected to a rotation shaft passing through the ratchet, wherein the rotation shaft is rotatable in operation of the operation lever; and a pawl coupled to the operation lever, and including an edge portion elastically in contact with the teeth, wherein the operation lever is provided with a locking jaw for preventing contact between the pawl and the gear unit, wherein the locking jaw is provided between the gear unit and the pawl.

A parking brake operating device includes: a lever body; a pole pivotally arranged inside a proximal end portion of the lever body, and restricts pivoting movement of the lever body; and a release rod pivotally connected to the pole, and causes the pole to disengage from the ratchet when a release knob is pushed, the operating portion being provided with a slit being provided with a wide portion into which a pivot connecting portion for the release rod and the pole is introduced, the wide portion being provided in a part of the slit; the wide portion having parallel portions; and the release rod and the pole fitted at positions in the lever body by introducing the release rod and the pivot connecting portion into the operating portion through the slit, and moving the release rod and the pivot connecting portion in this state toward the proximal end portion.
PARKING BRAKE DEVICE
A parking brake device includes a toggle mechanism including a base member, a connecting member, a brake lever, a junction member that connects an intermediate position of the brake lever with the connecting member. The junction member includes two junction parts that are connected to each other and are rotatable relative to each other. During a process of an operation of the braking lever from a non-operating state of the parking brake device to an operating state of the parking brake device, the two junction parts integrally rotate when an operation angle of the brake lever is equal to or less than a predetermined angle, and one of the two junction parts connected to the intermediate position of the brake lever is rotatable about a connecting portion where the two junction parts are connected.

A braking system for a rollator with a frame includes an adjustable handle to be installed on a right subframe or a left subframe of the frame of the rollator, a bracket fixedly connected to the handle, a lever rotatably connected to the bracket, a lock movably connected to the bracket and configured to fix the lever in a locked position when the lock is moved relative to the bracket once the lever is rotated toward the frame, and a wire operably connected between the lever and a brake on the frame of the rollator, such that the wire applies the brake when the lever is rotated toward the bracket and when the lever is fixed in the locked position.
Redundant integrated parking brake release circuit
An electric motor-driven parking brake of a motor vehicle can be released in an emergency by applying emergency current from a parallel emergency current source to the motors controlling the parking brake. The direction of the emergency current is selected to reverse the motors, i.e., release the parking brake.
