METHOD FOR OPERATING A HYBRID DRIVE ASSEMBLY FOR A MOTOR VEHICLE AND CORRESPONDING HYBRID DRIVE ASSEMBLY
A method for operating a hybrid drive assembly for a motor vehicle, which has an internal combustion engine and an electric engine. A separating clutch arranged in drive terms between the internal combustion engine and the electric engine is set to a target clutch torque by at least partially engaging during an attempt to start the internal combustion engine. An actual clutch torque actually transmitted via the separating clutch and a speed of the internal combustion engine are determined during the attempt to start, and if a characteristic value dependent on the actual clutch torque exceeds a threshold value and if an integral of the speed over time continuously falls below a limit value during the attempt to start, the attempt to start is aborted.
DEVICE INTENDED FOR REMOTELY CHANGING THE POWER AND/OR SPEED OF A RECREATIONAL VEHICLE AND TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE POSITION OF THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL
A device for remotely changing the control of power generated by an internal combustion engine of a recreational vehicle driven by a driver controlling an accelerator pedal. The device includes a remote control, sending a signal for modulating the power and/or speed of the engine. The device comprises a system for measuring the position of the accelerator pedal, a system for receiving the signal for modulating the power and/or speed, a system for controlling the intake of gases into the engine, and an electronics module connected to the various systems, establishing rules for controlling the intake control system, depending on the position of the accelerator pedal and the received modulation signal.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING AN ENGINE STOP AND START FOR A ROLLING VEHICLE
Methods and systems for improving operation of a vehicle driveline that includes an engine and an automatic transmission with a torque converter are presented. In one non-limiting example, the engine may be stopped while a vehicle in which the engine operates is rolling. A transmission coupled to the engine may be shifted as the vehicle rolls so that vehicle response may be improved if a driver requests an increase of engine torque.
AUTOMOBILE INCLUDING MOTOR FOR RUNNING THE AUTOMOBILE
When there is an abnormality in communications between a motor ECU and an HVECU in an automobile, the motor ECU controls a motor such that creep torque or a given torque larger than the creep torque is delivered from the motor. Thus, when there is an abnormality in communications between the HVECU and the motor ECU, the automobile is able to run in a limp home mode.
HYBRID DRIVE TRAIN
A parallel hybrid drive train, in particular for a working machine, includes an internal combustion engine (1), an electrical machine (2) and hydraulic aggregates (3, 4, 5, 9) for driving working devices (6-8) and for moving the working machine. In order to increase the efficiency, the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine is lowered, that is to say the load point is moved. Increased power requirements are detected via a driver input and provide a desired rotational speed. The electrical machine assists the acceleration of the internal combustion engine to said desired rotational speed.
Slip control method and arrangement for a drivetrain architecture including a continuously variable transmission
A slip control method and arrangement for a drivetrain including a continuously variable transmission, forward-reverse clutch arrangement and an optional three-speed gearbox is described herein. The forward-reverse clutch arrangement includes a clutch that is so controlled as to slip when a torque higher than the usable torque attempts to pass through. Accordingly, the clutch prevents the prime mover from stalling.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A HYBRID DRIVE TRAIN
A method for operating a hybrid drive train includes ascertaining an actual state vector of an internal combustion engine of the hybrid drive train; ascertaining a target power of the internal combustion engine; determining a target fuel mass flow for the internal combustion engine as a function of the target power of the internal combustion engine; determining a limit fuel mass flow of the internal combustion engine as a function of an emission limiting value, the target fuel mass flow, and the actual state vector of the internal combustion engine; determining a setpoint fuel mass flow by forming a minimum value as a function of the target fuel mass flow and the limit fuel mass flow; and setting the setpoint fuel mass flow at the internal combustion engine.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, VEHICLE, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
An information processing apparatus, a vehicle, and an information processing method each capable of improving the visibility of an on-board meter panel. Information processing apparatus includes information acquirer that acquires traveling information on traveling of a vehicle including an on-board meter panel; and display pattern changer that changes a display pattern of the on-board meter panel in accordance with change in the traveling information.
CONTROLLER FOR VEHICLE AND CONTROL METHOD FOR VEHICLE
The vehicle includes an internal combustion engine having a crankshaft, a motor generator having an output shaft, a clutch, a water pump, a coolant temperature sensor, and a controller. The clutch is located between the crankshaft and the output shaft. The water pump is configured to pump the coolant in conjunction with rotation of the crankshaft. The coolant temperature sensor is configured to detect a coolant temperature of the internal combustion engine. The clutch is switchable between an engaged state and a disengaged state. The controller includes processing circuitry. When a predetermined condition is satisfied, the processing circuitry is capable of executing an engine stopping process of bringing the clutch into the disengaged state and stopping operation of the internal combustion engine. The predetermined condition includes that the coolant temperature detected by the coolant temperature sensor is equal to or lower than a first temperature.
Method and system for controlling a hydrostatic drive system of an agricultural vehicle
In ore aspect, a method is provided or braking a work vehicle including an engine and a hydrostatic drive system including a hydraulic pump configured to be rotationally driven by the engine and a hydraulic motor fluidly coupled with the hydraulic pump through a closed hydraulic loop of the hydrostatic drive system. The hydraulic pump may be configured to fluidly drive the hydraulic motor. The method may include receiving an operator request to reduce a ground speed of the work vehicle. The method may include monitoring a fluid temperature of a hydraulic fluid associated with the closed hydraulic loop and automatically controlling at least one of a pump displacement of the hydraulic pump or a motor displacement of the hydraulic motor based on the operator request and the monitored fluid temperature to adjust hydrostatic braking of the work vehicle and thereby reduce the ground speed of the work vehicle.
