HYBRID VEHICLE CREEP CONTROL
Aspects of the present invention relate to a method and to a control system for controlling movement of a vehicle to provide vehicle creep, the vehicle comprising an engine and an electric traction motor, the control system comprising one or more controllers, wherein the control system is configured to: while a torque path between the engine and a first set of vehicle wheels is disconnected, control the electric traction motor to provide tractive torque to a second set of vehicle wheels to automatically move the vehicle to provide electric vehicle creep, wherein the electric vehicle creep is controlled by a mathematical model of engine creep torque that would be provided by the engine when the torque path between the engine and the first set of vehicle wheels is connected.
VEHICLE DRIVE CONTROL METHOD AND SYSTEM
The present application relates to the technical field of vehicles and provides a vehicle drive control method and system including: obtaining a state of a generator and/or a drive motor of a hybrid vehicle (S101); determining whether the hybrid vehicle meets conditions for entering a parallel operation mode when the temperature in the state is greater than a safety temperature threshold and/or a fault condition in the state shows that a fault occurs in the generator and/or the drive motor (S102); and controlling the hybrid vehicle to adjust the load distribution of the engine, the generator, and the drive motor in the parallel operation mode when the hybrid vehicle meets the conditions for entering the parallel operation mode, so that the temperature of the generator and/or the drive motor decreases until below the safety temperature threshold and/or there is no fault (S103).

A vehicle for activating launch control in response to establishment of a predetermined activation condition includes an electric power conversion device configured to control electric power supplied to an electric motor, the electric motor configured to drive a driven wheel according to electric power supplied via the electric power conversion device, a temperature control circuit in which a temperature control medium circulates to control a temperature of the electric power conversion device, and a control device. The temperature control circuit includes a pump configured to pump the temperature control medium. The control device is configured to control the pump, and when the activation condition is established, the control device is configured to control the pump such that a flow rate of the pump is high as compared with a case where the activation condition is not established.
Hybrid vehicle control apparatus
A hybrid vehicle control apparatus including a torque converter temperature detector detecting a torque converter temperature, a rotor temperature detector detecting a rotor temperature, a stator temperature detector detecting a stator temperature, and an electronic control unit including a microprocessor. The microprocessor is configured to perform controlling an engine, a transmission, a lockup clutch, a motor-generator and a stator cooling device based on the torque converter temperature detected by the torque converter temperature detector, the rotor temperature detected by the rotor temperature detector and the stator temperature detected by the stator temperature detector so that the torque converter temperature is equal to or lower than a first predetermined temperature, the rotor temperature is equal to or lower than a second predetermined temperature and the stator temperature is equal to or lower than a third predetermined temperature.
Vehicle
A vehicle includes a first rotary electric machine, a second rotary electric machine, and a control circuit. When the control circuit determines that a failure has occurred in the first rotary electric machine, the control circuit places the first rotary electric machine and a first transmission path as a power transmission path of the vehicle in the disconnection state, and places the second rotary electric machine and the first transmission path in the connection state. Further, when the control circuit determines that a failure has occurred in the second rotary electric machine, the control circuit places the first rotary electric machine and a first transmission path in the connection state, and place the second rotary electric machine and the first transmission path in the disconnection state.
Braking force control system, device, and method
A vehicular breaking force control system that includes a control device including a processor that acquires a plurality of longitudinal accelerations from a driving assistance system, and calculates a driving/braking request when the vehicle is in a coasting state in which an acceleration operation or a deceleration operation are not performed during running of the vehicle. The processor further acquires a driving force lower limit set for a powertrain actuator having a set gear ratio, and distributes the driving/braking request to at least one of (i) a powertrain system including the powertrain actuator and (ii) a brake system including a brake actuator. The driving/braking request is distributed to the at least one of the powertrain system and the brake system based on the acquired driving force lower limit.

Systems and methods for disconnecting tandem axles
Methods and systems are provided for controlling a multi-axle assembly in a vehicle. The multi-axle assembly may be operated according to a requested mode, where the mode includes providing torque at one, two, or no axles of the multi-axle assembly, and the requested mode may be selected based on vehicle speed. In this way, operation of the multi-axle assembly may be adjusted according to a fuel efficiency of the vehicle while the vehicle is in motion.
Drive System
An object of this invention is to efficiently warm up a catalyst and keep its temperature. Provided is a drive system, including: an internal combustion engine; a catalytic unit configured to purify an exhaust gas from the internal combustion engine; a motor used for at least one of drive or regeneration; and a flow path formed so as to allow an oil-based medium for lubricating the motor to flow in the vicinity of the catalytic unit. The oil-based medium is heated in the motor and exchanges heat in the catalytic unit to heat the catalytic unit.
Method for operating a motor vehicle drive train
A method for operating a drive train of a motor vehicle, which utilizes at least one permanent-magnet electric machine (EM) as a motor vehicle drive source, is provided. A transmission (G) with different gear ratios is arranged in a power path between the electric machine (EM) and driving wheels (DW) of the motor vehicle. A power converter (LE) is associated with the electric machine (EM) and can operate the electric machine (EM) in a field weakening condition. The method includes prematurely carrying out, delaying, or preventing a changeover of the gear step of the transmission (G) specified by a driving strategy depending on a temperature value of the electric machine (EM) in order to reduce, not increase, or increase with delay a rotational speed of the electric machine (EM). An electronic control unit (ECU) for carrying out the method and a motor vehicle with the control unit (ECU) are also provided.
