METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DRIVE CONTROL OF VEHICLE
A method and a system for a drive control of a vehicle, the method for the drive control of the vehicle includes: obtaining request information reflecting a power demand of a user on the vehicle and performance information reflecting a power performance of the vehicle; determining whether the vehicle meets a condition for activating a parallel operation mode according to the request information and the performance information when a result of comparison between the request information and the performance information indicates that the vehicle power performance cannot meet the power demand of the user on the vehicle; and activating the parallel operation mode of the vehicle in order that the vehicle outputs a power that meets the power demand of the user on the vehicle in the parallel operation mode, when the vehicle meets the condition for activating the parallel operation mode.
Electrical power control method
Systems and methods are described for electrical power control of a hybrid vehicle. A change in an electrical load of an ancillary component of the vehicle is determined. In response to determining the change in the electrical load of the ancillary component, an electrical load of an electrically heated catalyst of the vehicle is adjusted.
Vehicle control apparatus
A vehicle control apparatus includes a condition determining unit, a mode switching controller, and a notification controller. The condition determining unit is configured to determine whether enabling conditions set to enable a switching control to an engine stop mode are satisfied. The engine stop mode stops an engine of a vehicle in a driving state. The mode switching controller is configured to perform the switching control to the engine stop mode in response to that the condition determining unit determines that the enabling conditions are satisfied. The notification controller is configured to compare a measured time value and a threshold both related to the enabling condition which the condition determining unit determines as not being satisfied. The notification controller is configured to perform, in response to that the measured time value exceeds the threshold, a control of making notification that the switching control is in a disabled state.
PROCESSING UNIT AND METHOD THEREIN FOR MANAGING ENERGY CONSUMPTION IN A VEHICLE
A method for managing energy consumption in a vehicle along a first route from a source location to a first target destination includes estimating an energy consumption, E.sub.PC, of the vehicle travelling from the source location to the first target destination along the first route. In case the amount of energy, E.sub.TOTAL, available in the vehicle is not on a level above E.sub.C that ensures arrival of the vehicle at the first target destination according to a first determined level of certainty, an estimated energy consumption, E.sub.AUX, of each auxiliary system on-board the vehicle for the first route, and an energy utilization information, EU.sub.INFO, indicating a priority level of each auxiliary system on-board the vehicle for the first route is obtained. An energy consumption adaption sequence of the auxiliary systems is determined for the first route based on the obtained E.sub.AUX and EU.sub.INFO of each auxiliary system such that E.sub.TOTAL is maintained on a level above E.sub.PC that ensures arrival of the vehicle at the first target destination according to a second determined level of certainty.
Control apparatus of vehicle
A control apparatus of a vehicle includes: a steering apparatus (6) including a steering wheel (11) operated in order to turn a vehicle (1) and a steering angle sensor (8) that detects a steering angle of the steering wheel (11), the steering apparatus (6) steering a front wheel (steered wheel) (2) of the vehicle (1) in accordance with operation of the steering wheel (11); and a controller (14) that sets a steering angle acceleration based on the steering angle detected by the steering angle sensor (8) and controls vehicle motion when the steering wheel (11) is operated to be turned. In particular, the controller (14) suppresses a rise of lateral acceleration of the vehicle (1) based on the steering angle acceleration in order to control the vehicle motion.
DRIVE SYSTEM CONTROLS ARCHITECTURE FOR OEM INTERFACE AND SERVICES
Systems and methods provide a drive system control architecture that comprises a seamless interface between original equipment manufacturer (OEM) vehicle systems or components (e.g., accelerator pedal, brake pedal, accessory components, etc.) and third-party (or non-OEM) vehicle systems or components (e.g., motor/generator (MG) and inverter systems, fuel cell and battery systems, transmission, etc.). A universal interface implemented in a vehicle may receive a request for a specified amount of torque from one or more components of a first set of vehicle components, and may determine a balance between one or more components of a second set of vehicle components for delivering the specified amount of torque. The universal interface may then instruct the one or more components of the second set of vehicle components to deliver a commensurate portion of the specified amount of torque.
Neutral-hold mode system and method
A system for maintaining a vehicle including a shift-by-wire transmission in a neutral-hold mode is provided. The system includes a transmission control unit in signal communication with the shift-by-wire transmission and an internal control unit of the vehicle. The transmission control unit is configured to control a gear configuration of the shift-by-wire transmission. An external control unit is in signal communication with the transmission control unit. The external control unit is configured to transmit a neutral-hold mold activation signal.
Vehicle control system, vehicle control method, and storage medium
A vehicle control system includes a recognizer that recognizes a peripheral situation of a vehicle, a driving controller that automatically performs speed control and steering control of the vehicle on the basis of a recognition result of the recognizer, and a determiner that determines whether a predetermined condition indicating that automated parking is not adequate is satisfied when a user exits the vehicle. The driving controller causes the vehicle to start to travel from a stop state and stop at a parking lot in a case where it is determined by the determiner that the predetermined condition is not satisfied, and causes the vehicle not to start to travel from a stop state and stop at a parking lot in a case where it is determined by the determiner that the predetermined condition is satisfied.
VEHICLE CONTROLLER
A vehicle controller includes: an engine controller configured to perform an IS control upon satisfaction of a predetermined stop condition and an engine restart control upon satisfaction of a predetermined restart condition; an HDC controller configured to perform, when the vehicle is traveling on a downhill road and a deceleration request according to an HDC control occurs, a target vehicle speed-based deceleration irrespective of brake operations by the driver; and an information acquisition part configured to acquire progress status information related to the engine restart control and including information on initiation and completion thereof. When an engine restart request according to the IS control and the deceleration request according to the HDC control occur in a temporally overlapping manner, while the engine controller performs the engine restart control in a prioritized manner, the HDC controller allows performing the target vehicle speed-based deceleration on the basis of the progress status information.
On-Board Electronic Controller and On-Board Device Control Method
To apply an on-board electronic controller having a relay control driver circuit for performing ON/OFF control of a relay that connects and shuts off a wire from a battery. The on-board electronic controller includes: a switch circuit that is connected to an output unit of the relay control driver circuit to draw out a current; and a control circuit that activates the switch circuit when an abnormality occurs in the vehicle, to cause the switch circuit to draw out the current from the output unit so as not to turn on the relay. This prevents sticking of the relay to ON even in a case where an output harness of a relay control driver is short-circuited to another signal harness or a power supply and GND line.
