An energy storage and regeneration system that converts irregular, non-constant, and variable input power to regular, constant, and controlled output power using hydraulics whereby the irregular input power is used to pump hydraulic fluid into an accumulator array where it is stored pressurized. Energy is released in a controlled fashion using a hydraulic motor operated by the pressurized hydraulic fluid from the accumulator array, in accordance with the specified power demand. One or more power units may be deployed depending on the amount of energy required at the output. Each power unit includes a hydraulic motor and associated floating accumulator whose internal pressure is controlled to maintain a substantially constant pressure differential across its associated motor. The system can be integrated into various energy system sources including renewable energy such as wind, PV or thermal solar, wave, tidal, etc. as well as various types of vehicles such as cars, trucks, motorcycles, trains, boats, etc.

A cruising distance coefficient is set that is smaller than a value of 1 and that becomes smaller as a use index indicating a degree of use of external charging gets smaller, and a cruising distance is calculated by multiplying a fuel quantity by the set cruising distance coefficient and a fuel consumption coefficient. Then, a display cruising distance is calculated by subtracting from the cruising distance a value obtained by subtracting a set-time travel distance Lset, obtained when the cruising distance is calculated, from a travel distance from a travel distance meter, and the calculated display cruising distance is displayed on a display device in front of a driver's seat.

A novel method of preventing vehicle rollover by shifting center of mass (COM). Shifting 23% of a vehicle's total vehicle weight can increase the rollover impact energy threshold by 4 times on a scaled prototype SUV built in the research. This design can be implemented on commercial vehicles and greatly reduce the probability of vehicle rollover. Moreover, existing parts on the vehicle such as the battery on an electric vehicle can be used as the mobile weight to shift COM.

The present invention relates to a power control method and terminal device for a hydraulic hybrid vehicle, and a storage medium. The method includes: S1: predicting, according to environmental information of a road ahead, recoverable energy in the road ahead; S2: calculating, according to the predicted recoverable energy, a critical pressure required by a hydraulic accumulator to recover the recoverable energy; and S3: determining whether a current pressure of the hydraulic accumulator is greater than the critical pressure, and if so, reducing fuel output power of an engine and controlling the hydraulic accumulator to release energy such that the current pressure of the hydraulic accumulator is less than or equal to the critical pressure. According to the present invention, when it is predicted that there is a high probability of energy recovery ahead, the energy stored in the hydraulic accumulator is used up in advance, so that the hydraulic accumulator has enough space to recover energy when the energy recovery occurs in future. This can make full use of the characteristic of the hydraulic accumulator of being suitable for frequent storage and release of energy, thereby achieving the economy of energy consumption of the whole vehicle.
