A method for shifting a transmission in a machine. The method includes detecting a request for a directional shift of the transmission and determining a ground speed of the machine in response to the request. The method further includes overriding the request if the ground speed is above a ground speed threshold. Further, the method includes preparing the machine for the directional shift by limiting an output speed of a power source of the machine and by issuing a command to a brake unit of the machine to reduce the ground speed of the machine. Furthermore, the method includes validating and raising the request to the transmission to execute the directional shift if the ground speed is below the ground speed threshold.
Directional shift control in vehicles
The present disclosure relates to a method of controlling gear selection in a transmission of a vehicle in response to a directional shift requested by an operator and to a control system for controlling gear selection to manage directional shifts in vehicles, from a first direct to a second direction (e.g. forward to reverse). The method compares the current transmission output speed with a predetermined direction shift threshold transmission output speed. If the current transmission output speed is less than or equal to the predetermined direction shift threshold transmission output speed, the transmission is caused to execute a direction shift from the initial first direction gear to the same second direction gear, or a next highest second direction gear if there is no second direction gear which corresponds to the initial first direction gear. If the current transmission output speed is greater than the predetermined direction shift threshold transmission output speed, the direction shift is inhibited until the current transmission output speed slows to less than or equal to the predetermined direction shift threshold transmission output speed.
ROUGH TERRAIN VEHICLE
A determination unit in an ECU of a rough terrain vehicle determines a reverse running state in a case that an engine rotational speed of an engine decreases when a traveling drive force is generated in the rough terrain vehicle. Further, if the determination unit determines occurrence of the reverse running state, the ECU refers to a clutch hydraulic pressure map, and sets a target hydraulic pressure so as to decrease gradually over time.
Method for freeing a vehicle by rocking
A method of rocking a vehicle free, the vehicle having a drive-train (1) with a torque adjusting element (3) which transmits drive torque to a vehicle wheel (5). The adjusting element (3) is controlled as a function of an accelerator pedal position. In a rocking-free situation in which the vehicle wheel (5) is to be moved from a depression (6) by alternating deflection and release of the accelerator pedal (8), the driver produces a cyclically fluctuating drive torque at vehicle wheel (5). The accelerator pedal position is continually monitored and upon recognizing a beginning or imminently beginning reduction of the accelerator pedal deflection or a parameter derived therefrom, an imminent full release of the deflection of the accelerator pedal (8) is concluded and the adjusting element (3) is actuated in anticipation so that the vehicle wheel (5) is immediately freed from a drive torque that has been active until then.
Method and device for actuating a mobile work machine
A method of controlling a mobile work machine having a reversing gearbox. The driving direction reversal is initiated by detecting a driving direction reversal command. A change of the torque transmission from a current driving direction to a new driving direction is carried out as a powershift. Braking for the driving direction reversal occurs in a manner so as to recuperate energy. Furthermore, a device for controlling a mobile work machine, in particular for implementing the method, is also disclosed.
Method for Operating a Driver Assistance System of an at Least Partially Electrically Operable Motor Vehicle for Controlling Four Wheels, a Driver Assistance System and Motor Vehicle
A method for operating a driver assistance system of an electrically driven motor vehicle includes providing a first and a second driving mode and setting the first driving mode or the second driving mode via an actuating device by a single user input. A first turning maneuver of the motor vehicle is set as the first driving mode and a second turning maneuver of the motor vehicle is set as the second driving mode. During the first turning maneuver, a direction of movement for each of the four wheels of the motor vehicle is respectively set via four control signals such that right side wheels of the motor vehicle and left side wheels of the motor vehicle rotate against each other. Via the driver assistance system, the motor vehicle is operated at least partially autonomously at least during the first driving mode and/or the second driving mode.

Vehicle control apparatus
A vehicle control apparatus includes a detection section, a control section. The detection section is configured to detect vehicle information including a vehicle speed of a vehicle driven by an electric motor and drive torque of the electric motor. The control section is configured to moderate a rate of increase in the drive torque at the time of acceleration with respect to a rate of increase set in advance on the basis of a detection result of the detection section on condition that the vehicle speed of the vehicle is less than or equal to a predetermined speed and the drive torque is greater than or equal to a predetermined threshold.
METHOD AND CONTROLLER FOR OPERATING A DRIVETRAIN OF A VEHICLE
A method of operating a vehicle drivetrain for rocking the vehicle free. The drivetrain has a transmission with an input and an output that can be coupled by a clutch. The input and output are connected to a drive aggregate and a drive output, respectively. The clutch is actuated based on driver actuation of an accelerator and a rotational speed of the drive output such that following accelerator actuation, when its actuation decreases, the clutch disengages with a first opening gradient. Then, based on a calculated point in time at which drive aggregate torque upon the clutch corresponds to torque on the clutch from the drive output, the clutch disengages with a second, smaller opening gradient. And depending on a rotational speed of the drive output relative to a limit value, the clutch either initiates or terminates engagement with a first closing gradient.
