Hydraulic Closed Circuit Motorization System and Method for Controlling the Driving of a Transport Vehicle
A transport vehicle is driven by a hydraulic closed circuit system having a variable displacement pump to send an operating fluid to a delivery branch and receive the operating fluid from a return branch, a plurality of hydraulic motors connected to the delivery branch and to the return branch in order to drive relative wheels of the vehicle, a command and control unit to control the pump and the hydraulic motors in an ordinary advancing condition of the vehicle and command and control unit, which is configured to intervene in case of faults or malfunctions of the pump and to control a valve so as to establish a connection between the delivery branch and the return branch regardless of the control of the command and control unit of the pump and of the hydraulic motors.
Commercial vehicle, in particular heavy-duty vehicle, and wheel assembly for such a commercial vehicle
The invention relates to a commercial vehicle, in particular a heavy-duty vehicle, comprising a plurality of wheel assemblies mounted on a vehicle frame. At least one of the wheel assemblies comprises an elongate wheel carrier, a wheel at each of the longitudinal ends of the wheel carrier, a drive unit for driving the wheels, and a transmission device. According to the invention, the at least one wheel assembly further comprises a clutch device which selectively interrupts or establishes a power transmission connection between the drive unit and the wheels, and a brake device which is approved for the operation of the commercial vehicle on public roads up to speeds of more than 25 km/h.
COMMERCIAL VEHICLE, IN PARTICULAR HEAVY-DUTY VEHICLE, AND WHEEL ASSEMBLY FOR SUCH A COMMERCIAL VEHICLE
The invention relates to a commercial vehicle, in particular a heavy-duty vehicle, comprising a plurality of wheel assemblies (10) mounted on a vehicle frame. At least one of the wheel assemblies (10) comprises an elongate wheel carrier (20), a wheel (42) at each of the longitudinal ends of the wheel carrier (20), a drive unit (28) for driving the wheels (42), and a transmission device (30, 34). According to the invention, the at least one wheel assembly (10) further comprises a clutch device (32) which selectively interrupts or establishes a power transmission connection between the drive unit (28) and the wheels (42), and a brake device (36) which is approved for the operation of the commercial vehicle on public roads up to speeds of more than 25 km/h
Movable rig and steering system
A drill rig with a steering system may include a substructure having a wheelhouse, a drill floor arranged atop the substructure, a mast extending upwardly and above the drill floor, and a steering system arranged within the wheelhouse. The steering system may include a wheel assembly comprising an electric motor configured for driving rotational motion of a wheel, a deployment device configuring for deploying the wheel assembly to carry the drill rig, and a steering mechanism configured for selective engagement with the wheel assembly and rotating the wheel assembly.
Driven platform with tilting suspension
A robotic platform may include left and right platforms, a base platform, wheel assemblies, and a tilting suspension. The tilting suspension may include a tilt shaft coupled to the base platform, a crank, suspension arms, and a tilt assembly. The tilt shaft may extend along a substantially vertical tilt axis. The crank may extend substantially perpendicular to the tilt axis and may be coupled to the tilt shaft such that the crank at least partially rotates about the tilt axis along with the tilt shaft. The suspension arms may extend from the crank to the left and right platforms such that rotation of the crank about the tilt axis controls the tilt of the platforms. The tilt assembly may control rotation of the tilt shaft about the tilt axis to control the tilt of the left and right platforms. Various other systems are also disclosed.
