A vehicle interior component is disclosed. The component for a vehicle interior may comprise a base comprising a surface and a depression in the surface and a first decorative layer coupled to the base and comprising a front surface and a rear surface. The first decorative layer may be at least partially contained in the depression of the surface of the base. The first decorative layer may be at least partially absorbed into the base. The vehicle interior component may comprise one or more of the inventive concepts and features shown and described in the FIGURES and Appendices and specification.
Exterior trim for a motor vehicle
An exterior trim for a motor vehicle has a body that forms a surface of the exterior trim. The body has an exterior surface and an interior surface, and defines a recess or cut-out. The body has a single undulating wall formed on the interior surface of the body substantially perpendicular to a plane defined by the body, and the single undulating wall at least partially surrounds the recess or cut-out. The exterior trim also includes a human-machine interface (HMI) device disposed at least partially within the recess or cut-out of the body. The HMI device may be used to externally control certain features of the motor vehicle.

An impact absorption unit provided between an inside member and an outside member that form a vehicle body and configured to absorb an impact may include: a first absorption body which includes composite material and protrudes from an inside surface of the inside member toward the outer member, with an open receiving space formed in the first absorption body; and a second absorption body which includes composite material and protrudes from an inside surface of the outside member toward the inside member such that the second absorption body is inserted into the open receiving space.

A series of mounting supports, a mounting support for fastening radiator modules and a method for producing mounting supports, in particular for motor vehicles for fastening radiator modules by which the variability of a mounting support with respect to the arrangement of radiator modules can be increased. A series of mounting supports for fastening radiator modules in the front-end structure of motor vehicles relates to mounting supports having a frame which comprises an upper transversal support, two lateral vertical supports and a lower transversal support. At least an upper bearing area and at least a lower bearing area for mounting a radiator module are formed on the frame. Adapter elements for connecting between the mounting support and a radiator module are arranged on the mounting support in the upper bearing area and/or in the lower bearing area, which allow the variable fastening of radiator modules in different relative positions.

Motor vehicle display device
A motor vehicle display device is provided with information on vehicle operating states which can be displayed in an analog and/or digital manner by display elements, wherein in the direction of viewing of the motor vehicle display device, the display elements are disposed at least in two superimposed planes or plane regions. At least one first plane or one first plane region is provided, in which at least one active display element is disposed, and at least one further plane or one further plane region is provided, which is positioned before the first plane or the first plane region in a viewing direction, wherein only passive display elements are disposed therein, with at least one passive display element being disposed there. In this way the motor vehicle display device is given an appearance with a special 3D effect.
POLYURETHANE SYSTEM WITH LONG POT LIFE AND RAPID HARDENING
The present invention relates to a process for preparing polyurethanes by mixing a) polyisocyanate, b) a mixture obtainable by introducing an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal salt into a compound comprising urethane groups, c) compounds comprising one or more epoxide groups, and, optionally, d) polyol, e) chain extenders, and f) fillers and further additives to form a reaction mixture and fully reacting the mixture to give the polyurethane, where the amount of alkali metal or alkaline earth metal ions per equivalent urethane groups in the compound (b) is 0.0001 to 3.5. The present invention further relates to a polyurethane obtainable by such a process, and to the use of such a polyurethane for producing bodywork components for vehicles.
AUTOMOTIVE EXHAUST SYSTEM ISOLATOR
An automotive exhaust system isolator including an elastomeric body. The elastomeric body includes a central member having a through hole for inserting a pin of an exhaust system, and a peripheral member being configured to be coupled to a vehicle body, which surrounds the central member and is connected to the central member. The elastomeric body further includes two support arms having a first end and a second end, the first and second ends of the respective support arms being joined to the peripheral member, and the central member being connected to the two support arms by means of respective lateral bridges, so that, in use, the first ends of the support arms are positioned in an upper part of the peripheral member and the second ends are positioned in a lower part of the peripheral member, the central member being positioned between both support arms.
RESIN PEDAL ARM
Provided is a resin pedal arm of which strength is further improved. A resin pedal arm 10 includes a hollow arm body 20. The arm body 20 includes a front wall portion 30, a rear wall portion 32 facing the front wall portion 30, a left wall portion 34 formed between left edges 30A, 32A of the front wall portion 30 and the rear wall portion 32 and having multiple first flat plate portions 38 arranged to bridge between the left edges 30A, 32A, and a right wall portion 36 formed between right edges 30B, 32B of the front wall portion 30 and the rear wall portion 32, having multiple second flat plate portions 40 arranged to bridge between the right edges 30B, 32B, and facing the left wall portion 34. The multiple second flat plate portions 40 are each present in multiple left opening areas S1 each provided between adjacent ones of the multiple first flat plate portions 38, as viewed in a direction in which the left wall portion 34 and the right wall portion 36 face each other.

Impact protection plate for a vehicle comprising at least an impact layer with an outer surface for receiving the impact comprising at least one fiber reinforced thermoplastic polymer layer, and whereby the impact protection plate further comprises a spacer layer comprising at least one thermoplastic polymer layer, formed in a 3-dimensional shape with one or more protrusions, and whereby the impact layer and spacer layer are at least over part of their surface materially connected to each other forming one or more cavities between the impact layer and the spacer layer.
