The linkage moves the seat back between one of a forward-facing position and a rearward-facing position. The linkage lowers the seat cushion when the seat back is moved towards a central position between the forward-facing position and the rearward-facing position.

The pivot is connected to the seat structure and engaged with the slot. The seat structure is also configured to move from the second orientation to the first orientation by moving the pivot from the second end of the slot towards the first end of the slot and rotating the seat structure about the pivot axis of the pivot.
