Load sensing system for a railway truck assembly
A truck assembly for a rail vehicle includes at least one side frame including at least one lightener hole. At least one strain gage is disposed within the lightener hole(s). The strain gage(s) is configured to detect forces exerted into or onto the truck assembly. A method of detecting forces exerted into or onto a truck assembly of a rail vehicle includes disposing at least one strain gage within at least one lightener hole of at least one side frame of a truck assembly of the rail vehicle, and detecting the forces by the strain gage(s).
STEERING BOGIE FOR RAILCAR
A steering bogie for a railcar includes: a bogie frame supporting a carbody of the railcar; a wheelset including an axle and wheels, the axle extending in a car width direction, the wheels being provided at both respective sides of the axle; and a steering device that presses a pressing target member to steer the wheelset with respect to the bogie frame, the pressing target member being constituted by the wheelset or a member configured to be displaced integrally with the wheelset in a steering direction, the steering device including at least one steering unit, the at least one steering unit including a pressing member that separably contacts the pressing target member to press the pressing target member, and a power mechanism causes the pressing member to contact and separate from the pressing target member.

VEHICLE GUIDANCE SYSTEM
A vehicle guidance system and method of forming the same. The vehicle guidance system includes a transport guideway having an at least partial tube structure; vehicle tracks; a vehicle, having a fuselage with an uppermost surface and a lowermost surface, that travels over the vehicle tracks; and at least one track channel assembly arranged on an inside of the at least partial tube structure. The at least one track channel assembly is arranged so that, as the vehicle travels over the vehicle track, the at least one track channel assembly is located between the uppermost surface and the lowermost surface of the fuselage.

Rubbing plate of side bearer of railcar bogie and side bearer
A rubbing plate of a side bearer of a railcar bogie is a rubbing plate of a side bearer provided at the railcar bogie so as to slidably contact a slide member arranged above or under the side bearer. The rubbing plate includes a recess-projection provided on an opposing surface of the rubbing plate, the opposing surface being opposed to a sliding surface of the slide member.
Vehicle guidance system
Vehicle guidance system that includes a first guidance bogie selectively positionable in a first position for travel and a second position for direction change and a second guidance bogie selectively positionable in a third position for travel and a fourth position for direction change. At a common crossing, one of: the first guidance bogie is selectively positioned into the second position, or the second guidance bogie is selectively positioned into the fourth position.

RAIL WHEEL SET AND CAR
A rail wheel set for a car which can be moved on a rail of a rail system has a bearing housing with a radial suspension for connecting the rail wheel set to the car, and two running wheels which are rotatably mounted on the bearing housing. Each wheel has a respective rail rolling surface, the shape of which is adapted to the contour of a running surface of the rail, and a respective ground rolling surface. The wheels can roll independently of each other on the running surface of the rail or on the ground. The rail wheel set is secured to a chassis of a car for transporting objects on a rail system.
