Mobile unit control system and mobile unit control method
A mobile unit control system includes an acquisition unit configured to acquire operation information on transportation located around the traveling area of a mobile unit that a user gets on and off while the mobile unit is traveling and a setting unit configured to set the traveling route or the traveling speed of the mobile unit based on the operation information on transportation.
METHOD FOR IN-SITU AND REAL-TIME COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF GEOMETRIC PARAMETERS OF RAILWAY LINES
A method for in-situ and real-time collection and processing of geometric parameters of railway lines, in a particular but non-limiting manner to those related to the height and stagger of the contact wire in electrified lines and the gauges to specific elements of the infrastructure in any line, generated based on static measurements starting from two-dimensional scenes perpendicular to the track axis, by determining the number of angular positions per scene, determining the minimum number of passes in each position, obtaining the raw coordinates, applying an averaging algorithm, applying offset corrections, transforming coordinates and applying either the steps to salve for height and stagger of the overhead contact line, or applying the steps to salve for gauges to specific elements of the infrastructure. An optimized, efficient and simple method is achieved which enables the real-time management and processing of the data obtained from the railway infrastructure.
Device for processing data of rolling stock
A device configured to process data comprised in data messages passing on message buses of a rolling stock comprises: a universal input interface receiving data messages complying with the three following physical layers: RS232; RS485; CAN. From the message buses, the data messages comprise data; a processing engine receiving a remote requested configuration comprising one or more processing rules; a standardizing unit decoding the data messages into standardized data streams in function of the remote requested configuration; and wherein the processing engine further applies one or more of the one or more processing rules of the standardized data streams in function of the remote requested configuration.
CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A TRANSPORTATION NETWORK
A control system including one or more processors that may determine vehicle locations of one or more vehicles and states of charge of vehicle energy storage devices onboard the one or more vehicles. The control system may include an energy chassis having a fuel source holding a supply of fuel, an energy converter to convert at least a portion of the supply of the fuel from the fuel source into electric energy, and a communication device to communicate with the processors. The processors may direct which of the one or more vehicles are to couple with and be powered by the electric energy of the energy chassis based on one or more of: the vehicle locations, the states of charge of the vehicle energy storage devices, an amount of the supply of the fuel of the energy chassis, and a chassis location of the energy chassis.

An electronic train device suitable of use on a railway vehicle includes a radio module configured, through operation of at least one processor, to support and monitor a plurality of communication channels for messages transmitted between multiple electronic train devices on multiple railway vehicles, and to repeat and/or route a transmitted message using a channel of the plurality of communication channels to provide reliable communication between the multiple electronic train devices.
MULTI-CHANNEL COMMUNICATION BETWEEN END OF TRAIN DEVICE AND HEAD OF TRAIN DEVICE
An automatic train communications system includes a plurality of electronic train devices and a multi-channel communications network, wherein each electronic train device comprises a radio module configured to support a plurality of communications protocols and a plurality of frequency bands, and select a communications protocol and/or a frequency band from the plurality of communications protocols and frequency bands based on at least one performance criterium to reliably communicate with one or more electronic train devices via the multi-channel communications network.
MOVING BLOCK TRAIN OPERATION CONTROL METHOD AND SYSTEM BASED ON TRAIN AUTONOMOUS POSITIONING
The present invention relates to a moving block train operation control method and system based on train autonomous positioning, where the method is centered on a train-mounted device, autonomous positioning and integrity checking are implemented for the train-mounted device through satellites, and a movement authority and a target distance curve are calculated according to a real-time position, speed, and line state of a preceding train and in combination with train-to-train communication train safety protection technology, thereby achieving moving block. Compared with the prior art, the present invention has the advantages that line use efficiency, system work efficiency and operation efficiency are improved, a quantity of railside devices is reduced, and system construction and maintenance costs are reduced.
SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING OPERATIONAL DATA
A system for providing operational data of a vehicle component, in particular of a component of an air supply system of a rail vehicle, includes at least one detector for capturing the operational data of the vehicle component; a transmitter coupled to the at least one detector, for transmitting the operational data of the vehicle component to an external memory device for storing the operational data; and an identification number of the component, the number being provided on the vehicle component.
Micro sleep for network node providing service to user equipment onboard a high speed train
In one aspect, a network node receives a message indicating that UEs that require service are expected to enter a service area of the network node. The network node determines, based on the message, that a change in power management for radio equipment corresponding to the service area is required. The network node determines a timing for initiating the change in power management for the radio equipment, taking into account a predicted time for when the UEs are expected to enter the service area, and triggers the change in power management for the radio equipment, based on the determined timing. In another aspect, the network node predicts a departure time from the first service area for the UEs. The network node then sends to another network node, prior to the predicted departure time, an indication that the UEs are expected to enter a service area of the other network node.
POSITIVE TRAIN CONTROL SIMULATION SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREFOR
A system and method for simulating positive train control (PTC) systems in a local and controlled environment using software and hardware. The system can simulate various functionalities of the PTC system in the environment using software and hardware components. The system can instruct the software of a train management computer (TMC) to control electromechanical valves to simulate air compression on brake pipes in response to the PTC system executing a penalty on the locomotive. The system can display statuses of various systems on the locomotive to a user using a cab display unit (CDU). The system can control the software and hardware components to simulate warnings and actions from the PTC system allowing locomotive engineers and conductors to experience the PTC system for optimum training.
