Wheeled folding tray cart with safety device and method
The invention is a wheeled folding tray cart and method. The wheeled folding tray cart comprises a collapsible wheeled framework pivotally supporting a set of split shelves, each split shelf comprises a pair of half shelves. The wheeled folding tray cart moves between an open operating position wherein the set of split shelves are held in spaced-apart, stacked, horizontal orientation within the collapsible wheeled framework and a closed storage position wherein the collapsible wheeled framework is collapsed in manner to move each half shelf pair into an accordion-like, inverted “V”-shaped or accordion like configuration. An extension coiled spring attached to the collapsible wheeled framework assists in the movement of the wheeled folding tray cart between open operating position and the closed storage position. A sheath encloses at least a portion of the spring to provide resistance to the spring's movement to limit potential operator exposure to pinch injuries.

A cart with powered folding and unfolding capability is provided. The cart has a cradle for holding a load, a frame supporting said cradle, said frame including a U-shaped leg member defining a pair of free ends connected to said cradle and a cross-bar end connected to a pair of wheels for ground engagement to enable said cart to roll along the ground, at least one leg pivot motor coupled to said leg member to enable powered folding of said leg member with respect to said cradle. The cart has a battery disposed on said cradle to power said leg pivot motor to enable powered folding and unfolding of said leg member. The cart also has an actuator disposed on said frame to initiate powered folding or unfolding of said leg member. Such a cart may also include a pair of auxiliary legs which are capable of powered folding.
FLATBED TRUCK WITH A FOLDABLE CASTER UNIT
A flatbed truck with a foldable caster unit, comprising a load-bearing plate, a load-bearing support frame and a caster unit, and further comprising a caster unit rotation driving device. The caster unit rotation driving device comprises an operating handle, a connecting rod, a front linkage mechanism and a rear linkage mechanism, wherein the operating handle is pivotally connected with the load-bearing plate and is rotatable around a pivot axis of the operating handle. The operating handle is capable of linking with the front linkage mechanism and the rear linkage mechanism via the connecting rod to respectively drive the front caster unit and the rear caster unit to be rotated from the folded storage position to the unfolded rolling position, when the operating handle is rotated from a first position to a second position.
Foldable push chair
A foldable push chair comprises a central chassis assembly defining a central axis extending substantially perpendicularly to a normal direction of travel of the push chair, the push chair has at least three wheel supporting legs extending from the central chassis and rotatable about the central axis between a folded and unfolded state, in the unfolded state at least one wheel supporting leg extending in a forward direction and at least one wheel supporting leg extending in a rearward direction, the forwardly and rearwardly extending wheel supporting legs being coupled together such that they rotate in opposite directions around the central axis during a folding or unfolding operation, latching means engagable with at least one wheel supporting leg and the central chassis or handle assembly for ensuring the push chair can be latched in either or both of an unfolded state or a folded state, energy storage means associated with at least one wheel supporting leg and the central chassis or handle assembly, configurable to be loaded with energy either: a) when the push chair is changed from a folded state to an unfolded state, or b) when the push chair is changed from a unfolded state to a folded state; when the energy storage means is at least partially loaded with energy at least some of the energy stored in the energy storage means being used to assist in either: a) folding the push chair, or b) unfolding the push chair respectively when the latching mechanism is released.
ATTACHABLE CART SYSTEM AND METHOD
A cart is disclosed which is capable of being wheeled to a vehicle and mounted thereon through a mount secure coupling attached to the cart and a secure receiver attached to the vehicle. Upon secure attachment to the vehicle, the carts undercarriage assembly including wheels are capable of being retracted into the top deck assembly of the cart. Therefore, the vehicle maintains clearance from the road even after the cart is attached. Upon reaching a destination, the undercarriage of the cart is lowered and the cart is detached from the vehicle. The cart is then able to be wheeled away. The cart allows for transportation of loads without the need for the operator to actually carry either the load or the cart at any stage from start to finish or perform any additional steps to safe and securely attach the cart to the vehicle
Stroller
A collapsible stroller comprising a handle assembly, a front leg assembly and a rear leg assembly pivotably connected to one another such that the stroller is able to be moved between a folded configuration, where the front leg and handle assemblies are folded to positions substantially adjacent to the rear leg assembly, and an unfolded configuration, where the front leg and handle assemblies are unfolded to positions away from the rear leg assembly, and a link assembly comprising a front member and a rear member pivotally connected to one another, wherein the front member is pivotally connected to an intermediate portion of the front leg assembly and the rear member is pivotally connected to an intermediate portion of the rear leg assembly, such that when the stroller is moved to its folded configuration the front and rear members are folded toward each other to lie substantially adjacent to one another and the front and rear leg assemblies, and when the stroller is moved to its unfolded configuration the front and rear members are folded away from each other and the front and rear leg assemblies such that they are substantially coplanar with one another, and wherein the link assembly further comprises a biasing means for biasing the front and rear link members toward their unfolded positions.
CHILD STROLLER APPARATUS
A child stroller apparatus includes a rear leg frame having a first side segment fixedly connected with a first coupling part, a front leg frame having a second side segment fixedly connected with a second coupling part, a handle frame having a third side segment fixedly connected with a third coupling part, the second and third coupling parts being respectively connected pivotally with the first coupling part, a front guard pivotally connected with the first coupling part, a first linking assembly rotationally coupling the second side segment with the third side segment, and a second linking assembly rotationally coupling the front guard with the second side segment. The front leg frame, the handle frame and the front guard are linked and rotatable relative to the rear leg frame during folding and unfolding of the child stroller apparatus.
Telescoping dunnage rack
A transportation rack includes a base frame configured for resting on a surface and including an upper open side and an open front side. The transportation rack further includes an extension frame defining an open front side and being slideably received through the open upper side of the base frame. An actuator is coupled between the base frame and the extension frame and is operable to move the extension frame in an extending direction outwardly from the base frame through the open upper side and a collapsing direction inwardly to the base frame through the open upper side. The transportation rack further includes a compartment unit supported by the extension frame and having a collapsing portion therealong that accommodates the extending and collapsing of the extension frame with respect to the base frame.
