A pallet lift includes a base and a deck extending forward of the base. Load wheels support the deck. A platform above the deck is pivotable relative to the base. The platform has an upper support surface for supporting objects thereon. The platform may be pivoted as the pallet lift travels on an inclined surface, such as a truck ramp, in order to keep the platform relatively level relative to gravity to increase stability.

A dual-wheeled wheelbarrow is disclosed. a first and a second wheel, resiliently connected together via a cable and pully assembly as to have opposingly lateral movement for better handling over uneven ground. One embodiment of the dual-wheeled wheelbarrow includes: a frame, a container connected to the frame, and a first and a second wheel pivotably connected to the frame, wherein the first and second wheel are opposingly pivotable via a control axle and a cable and pully assembly.

A pull-behind carriage has an auxiliary wheel mounted on a reconfigurable drawbar. When the pull-behind carriage is converted to a push carriage, the drawbar is folded so that the auxiliary wheel is positioned on the ground to act as an extra, supporting wheel. Joints in the drawbar are palm operated and can be rotated without continuing to hold the joint. The drawbar may also serve to move the axle of the main wheels backwards when the carriage is converted from the pull-behind mode to the push mode.

In an aspect a vehicle is provided, and includes a frame a front wheel and a rear assembly. The front wheel is rotatably mounted to the frame. The rear assembly includes a first rear wheel support and a second rear wheel support. Each of the wheel supports is movably mounted to the frame. The rear assembly further includes a first rear wheel and a second rear wheel. The first and second rear wheels are rotatably mounted to the first rear wheel supports respectively. The rear assembly is positionable in a first position in which the first and second rear wheels are substantially immediately adjacent one another to operate as a single rear wheel, and a second position in which the first and second rear wheels are spaced apart from one another.

A modular transporter comprises a universal chassis that can be linked with a variety of user modules. The universal chassis comprises a base that includes a quick connector and complex geometric surfaces on its sidewalls that function to secure a user module thereto. The quick connector allows for quick assembly/disassembly of a user module to and from the base of universal chassis. A plurality of suspension arms may be removeably connectable to the base such that modular transporter may be configured in a number of transport configurations. An ergonomic handle assembly may be coupled with the base for pushing, pulling, towing, etc. When disassembled, the modular transporter can be folded into a storage and/or quick fold mode and stored in a modular storage system. The modular storage system can be mounted to a trailer hitch by a linking mechanism for further transport.

The present invention relates to a balance maintaining device for a transport apparatus. The balance maintaining device comprises a loading frame formed to be long in the lengthwise direction thereof and having two or more first and second supports, which are respectively formed at both sides of the lower portion of the loading frame, and a lower frame provided at the lower portion of the loading frame, and having both upper sides thereof linked and coupled to the first and second supports. The outside of the lower frame is coupled to a transport apparatus so as to maintain the loading frame in a horizontal state when the transport apparatus is shaken.

A folding wagon having a basket within which to carry articles and/or small children and a collapsible frame to enable the wagon to be folded between an expanded open configuration at which the basket is outstretched and a compact closed configuration at which the basket is collapsed. The wagon also has pairs of front and rear wheels that are spaced outwardly from the front and rear of the wagon so as to lie ahead of and behind the basket. A handle is connected to the top of the basket at the front of the wagon. When the wagon is folded to its compact closed configuration, the pairs of front and rear wheels are positioned in axial alignment to facilitate transport and/or storage. With the wagon folded, the axially-aligned pairs of wheels and the handle form a stand for supporting the wagon in an upright position.

An improved dolly particularly suited for the secure transport of disabled vehicles in a repair shop is described. Specifically, the locations of both the points of contact with the vehicle and the points of contact with the ground may be configured independently from one another. This configurability allows the dolly to contact the vehicle in the most optimally secure locations, while also contacting the floor in the most convenient configuration so as to accommodate obstructions and irregularities in the floor.

A swivel caster includes a swivel assembly having a swivel plate configured to be mounted to a vehicle and defining a swivel axis. A horn depends downwardly from the swivel assembly and a wheel is wheel coupled to the horn with a wheel axle. A slide mechanism couples the horn to the swivel assembly and enables the wheel to slide in a direction generally perpendicular to the swivel axis between first and second trailing positions. The slide mechanism swivels with the horn, the wheel, and the swivel plate about the swivel axis. A swivel limiter is operatively associated with the swivel assembly and limits a swiveling range of the wheel about the swivel axis so as to activate the slide mechanism to reposition the wheel from the first trailing position to the second trailing position when a direction of travel of the vehicle changes.

A load transporter includes a wheel unit and a load support coupled to the wheel unit. The wheel unit is configured to allow the load transporter to roll across a surface while the load support supports an object above the surface. The load transporter is configured to change from an upright orientation to a laid-back orientation where the load support lifts the object above the surface for transportation.
