The connecting portion extends, at least in portions, substantially parallel to the support carri er.

Vehicle front structure

A vehicle front structure includes: a front side member; a fender apron member having a front end portion connected to a front end portion of the front side member; a subframe mounting bracket assembly mounted to the front end portion of the front side member and the front end portion of the fender apron member; and a first subframe disposed under the front side member. In particular, the front end portion of the front side member and the front end portion of the fender apron member are connected side-by-side in a width direction of a vehicle.

Rear vehicle-body structure of vehicle

A rear vehicle-body structure is provided that can absorb a rear-end collision load by a short frame region on a vehicle-body rear side. Embodiments include a rear side frame having a rear-side breaking frame section including a rear-side breakage starting portion on a rear side among breakage starting portions disposed at intervals in a front-rear direction, a front-side breaking frame section including a front-side breakage starting portion on a front side and at which the direction of breakage is opposite from the direction of breakage at the rear-side breakage starting portion, and a middle frame section between the rear-side breakage starting portion and the front-side breakage starting portion. The axial proof stress of the rear-side breaking frame section is lower than the axial proof stress of the front-side breaking frame section; and the middle frame section includes beads at a predetermined interval in an axial direction.

Vehicle frame

A vehicle frame includes a frame rail, a shock tower bracket, and a cable. The frame rail is elongated along a vehicle-longitudinal axis. The shock tower bracket is connected to the frame rail. The cable is connected to the frame rail and the shock tower bracket. The cable extends transverse to the vehicle-longitudinal axis from the frame rail to the shock tower bracket.

A front pillar upper structure of a vehicle includes an outer member and an inner member. The inner member forms an inner wall of the front pillar upper structure in a vehicle-width direction, and is joined to the outer member forming an outer wall in the vehicle-width direction to form a closed cross-section structure. The inner member includes a flange part, a first wall part, and a second wall part. The second wall part is disposed between the flange part located on the lower side of the inner member and joined to the outer member and the first wall part located above the flange part. The second wall part has an angle of inclination in a range from 41° to 68° to a principal axis of inertia extending in the vehicle-width direction in a cross section substantially vertical to a longitudinal direction of the front pillar upper structure.

Vehicle lower body structure

A vehicle lower body structure can include: a side sill that forms a first closed cross section extending in a body front-rear direction; and a reinforcing member provided in the first closed cross section to reinforce a front end portion of the side sill. The reinforcing member can have: a front-end reinforcing section that supports a collision load applied to the front end portion of the side sill and directed rearward in a vehicle body; a deformation permission section that permits deformation of the side sill directed inward in a vehicle width direction and rearward at the time when the collision load directed inward in the vehicle width direction and rearward is applied to the front end portion of the side sill; and a deformation suppression section suppressing deformation of the side sill after the deformation of the side sill directed inward in the vehicle width direction and rearward.

Vehicle body side structure

Provided is a vehicle body side structure capable of improving electrodeposition coating of a center pillar, ensuring sealability of door seal members, and further ensuring strength and rigidity. The vehicle body side structure includes front flange bulging portions and rear flange bulging portions on a center pillar inner panel. Further, a center pillar stiffener has front through holes and rear through holes communicating with a first closed cross section. A center pillar outer panel includes front and rear step passages and that communicate the front and rear through holes with a second closed cross section. The center pillar stiffeners is overlapped with the front bulging portions and the rear flange bulging portions so as to form front gap passages and rear gap passages that communicate the first closed cross section with the outside.
