DOOR PINCH DETECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD
A door pinch detection system includes a pinch detector, a mount for the pinch detector, and an actuator for the mount. The pinch detector is configured to detect contact with objects adjacent the pinch detector. The mount is mountable to a vehicle door including a peripheral flange, and the actuator is mountable to the vehicle door and connectable between the vehicle door and the mount. The mount is configured to support the pinch detector for movement between an inboard position and an outboard position, in which the pinch detector is respectively located along the inside and the outside of the peripheral flange and configured to detect contact between the inside and the outside of the peripheral flange and objects. The actuator is operable to activate the mount to move the pinch detector between the inboard position and the outboard position.

A front part assembly for a mobility device, a front-part-integrated assembly including the same, and a process of assembling the same are disclosed. The front part assembly includes a bumper, a fender, and a hood, which are integrally formed, wherein the bumper and the fender are connected to each other to define an internal space therebetween, and the hood is rotatably connected at a front end thereof to the bumper such that a rear end of the hood is rotated vertically to open and close the internal space. The front-part-integrated mobility device includes the front part assembly and a frame, which is coupled to the front part assembly and is coupled to a cowl and a rear fender. The method includes rotating the hood to open the internal space, coupling the front part assembly to the frame, and rotating the hood to close the internal space.

The front-part-integrated mobility device includes the front part assembly and a frame, which is coupled to the front part assembly and is coupled to a cowl and a rear fender. The method includes rotating the hood to open the internal space, coupling the front part assembly to the frame, and rotating the hood to close the internal space.

The present invention provides a weather strip which can be easily attached to a grille of an automobile without the need of a clip. The weather strip is a weather strip which seals a gap between a grille and a hood of an automobile and includes (i) an attachment wall to be attached to the grille, (ii) a sealing wall which comes in elastic contact with the hood, and (iii) an insertion section to be inserted into a through hole. The insertion section includes a rear locking portion and a front locking portion which are locked in the through hole.

Twist lock design for underhood striker plate
A striker plate includes a base having a surface for contacting a switch and a wall. At least one support projects from the wall. The at least one support supports the base in a hood inner panel. At least one locking tab extends from the wall. The at least one locking tab engages a cutout on the panel. The support is positioned with respect to the respective locking tab so that the support engage the cutouts. Upon rotation of the base, the locking tab engages the cutout locking the base in place on the hood inner panel.
