The dashboard support has a support structure provided by a hollow profile, which support structure has at least one support portion having a curvature. A planar reinforcement part spanning this curved support portion on the inside of the curvature is arranged on the outside of the support structure. The planar extension of the reinforcement part faces toward the curvature and the ends of the reinforcement part facing in the spanning direction are connected to the outer surface of the support structure.

The at least one steering column holder is configured as an angle piece and is supported by a support surface provided by a first limb at a first outer wall of the transverse carrier. The steering column holder has a further limb extending below the transverse carrier. The steering column holder carries a support projection which extends through the outer wall of the transverse carrier adjoining the support surface of the steering column holder and up to at least the opposite wall of the transverse carrier. The support projection is connected in a vibration-coupled manner to this opposite wall.

A cross car beam assembly for use with a vehicle may include a beam having first and second portions that are spaced apart from each other in a lateral direction when the cross car beam assembly is mounted in the vehicle. The cross car beam assembly further includes a safety unit connected to the first and second portions so that the safety unit extends between the first and second portions. The safety unit includes a rigid member configured to cooperate with the first and second portions to provide continuous rigid structure from the first portion to the second portion. Furthermore, the rigid member is connected to at least one of the first and second portions with at least one integral connection feature that braces the rigid member in a longitudinal direction or a lateral direction of the vehicle when the cross car beam assembly is mounted to the vehicle.

A vehicle body may include a front pillar including a pillar front plate, a pillar rear plate, a pillar inner plate and a pillar outer plate, wherein the pillar front plate, the pillar rear plate, the pillar inner plate and the pillar outer plate form a tube; and a pillar reinforcement arranged in the front pillar. The pillar reinforcement may be arranged rearward of a front tire. A space may be provided between the pillar reinforcement and the pillar front plate.

A vehicle body structure and a vehicle are provided. The vehicle body structure includes a front longitudinal beam, a front compartment crossbeam, and a floor front crossbeam. The front longitudinal beam includes a left front longitudinal beam and a right front longitudinal beam that are disposed at an interval in a transverse direction.
