Fender mounting accessories
Fender mounting accessories are described herein. Fender mounting accessories can include a fender bracket and a fender attachment mechanism. A fender bracket can include a fender bracket and an extension member including an offset mounting flange for coupling with a fender attachment mechanism. A fender attachment mechanism can include an inner flange for coupling to the fender bracket and attachment locations for coupling to a fender.
Salinity detection device
Disclosed is a salinity detection device. The salinity detection device has a collection plate, a mounting frame, and a sensor portion including a predominantly non-metallic sensor. The device may be mounted in a wheel well of a vehicle via the mounting frame and the collection plate may be attached to the mounting frame and positioned behind a wheel such that water on a road surface may be splashed thereon. The collection plate is fluidically connected to the sensor portion so that water may flow through the sensor portion proximate the sensor to measure a current flowing through the water and determine a salinity thereof.
DETECTOR ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE
Resin plate-shaped mudguards 11 are disposed on vehicle width direction outer sides of left and right side members 7 below a cab. A cab rear member 12 is fixed to a vehicle body frame 5 and extends upward from the vehicle body frame 5 to support a rear end side of the cab from below. Mudguard brackets 17 for supporting the left and right mudguards 11 are fixed to an upper end portion of a support member 15L of the cab rear member 12. The mudguard 11 is disposed forward of the mudguard bracket 17 and supported by the mudguard bracket 17. A BSM radar 10 detects information of an object around a vehicle, is disposed on a vehicle width direction outer end portion behind the mudguard 11, and is fixed to a second bracket 19 of the mudguard bracket 17 via a radar bracket 20.
Debris guard for use with vehicle transport trailers
A road debris system and apparatus for use with a car or vehicle transport trailer. Embodiments include a transport trailer coupled to a truck. A plurality of resistive mounting brackets are attached to the truck. Embodiments also include a plurality of cantilever rods, a first end of each of the cantilever rods attached to one of the plurality of mounting brackets. The second end of each of the plurality of cantilever rods extend away from the respective mounting bracket. A debris guard is coupled to the plurality of cantilever rods such that an edge of the debris guard distal from the mounting bracket may articulate up and down, and such that an end of the debris guard adjacent a front of the transport trailer may articulate up and down. The debris guard is dimensioned to fill a gap between a back end of the truck and the front of the transport trailer.
Removable mud flap
A mud flap assembly is suitable for use with a vehicle. The mud flap assembly includes a rod assembly that is configured to be mounted to the vehicle. The rod assembly has an elongate housing and a stop extending from the housing. The mud flap assembly further includes a mud flap. A keyway extends through a portion of the mud flap. A first part of the keyway is sized and configured to rotatably engage the elongate housing. A second part of the keyway engages the stop to limit rotation of the mud flap between a first position and a second position. The mud flap also includes biasing element that biases the mud flap toward the first position when the mud flap is in the second position.
Aerodynamic system and adjustable fairings
Embodiments provide an aerodynamic fairing system that may comprise a base configured to mount to a vehicle, an arm coupled to the base at a proximate end and extending laterally, and a fairing mounted to the arm having an inboard and an outboard surface. The fairing outboard surface may provide an aerodynamic outer surface to direct flow to an angle to the rear. The arm may a fixed or adjustable length arm. The arm may provide a mounting area for a mud flap such that aerodynamic system may act as a mud flap hanger. Embodiments also provide an adjustable mud flap hanger.
FENDER SUPPORT ARM WITH BOLT-RETAINING STRIP
A bolt-retaining strip for a fender support arm may include a base with a first surface configured to be seated against an elongated support member, a second surface opposite the first surface, and a hole dimensioned to receive a shank of a bolt extending from the first surface to the second surface. A first arm and a second arm extending from the second surface may be positioned on opposite lateral sides of the hole so that the head of the bolt can be received therebetween. A lip may extend from a respective interior surface of each of the first and second arms towards the opposite arm and can be dimensioned to extend over a portion of the head of the bolt. A flange may be positioned proximate each of the first and second arms and can be configured to restrict rotation of the bolt relative to the hole.
Lawn mower fender
A fender for a lawn mower having tire and wheel assemblies that are mounted to a yoke of a swivel caster assembly, whereby the yoke pivots through 360 degrees of rotation, includes an arcuate fender body. The fender body is attached to the yoke by a bracket so that it is rotatably carried by the rotating yoke. As such, the fender body is maintained at an optimal position relative to the mower tire and thereby provides desirable deflection of lawn clippings and other debris from the various operational components provided upon the mower deck. This prevents the premature wear of such operational components, thereby decreasing down time and reducing maintenance costs of the mower.
Toolless mud flap mounting system and method
A mud flap mounting assembly and system is disclosed. A vehicle body and mud flap are provided as part of the overall system. Advantageously, a toollessly-operated mud flap clamp assembly is provided. The mud flap clamp assembly includes a plurality of mud flap clamp units installed on the vehicle body. Each of the plurality of mud flap clamp units includes a flap clamp bracket, a flap pressure plate, and a flap clamp. Each flap clamp bracket selectively engages a first side of the mud flap, and each flap pressure plate selectively engages a second side of the mud flap. Each flap clamp is operable to a first position such that a clamping force is applied to each respective flap pressure plate and such that the mud flap is frictionally engaged with and retained by each respective flap clamp bracket and each respective flap pressure bracket.
WORK VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR ATTACHING/DETACHING MUD GUARD
A work vehicle includes a vehicle body, and a mud guard device attached to the vehicle body. The mud guard device has a cylindrical support pipe fixed to the vehicle body, a support shaft supported by being inserted into the support pipe, and a mud guard supported by the support shaft. Alternatively, the mud guard device has a support shaft fixed to the vehicle body, a cylindrical support pipe supported by the support shaft being inserted in the cylindrical support pipe, and a mud guard supported by the support pipe.
