MUDFLAP WITH AERODYNAMIC IMPROVEMENT
Mudflap in a wheel arrangement for a vehicle such as a truck or a utility vehicle or a trailer, the mudflap comprising a plate, arranged substantially in a vertical position, the plate being attached to a support in the vehicle, a front side being oriented toward the wheel, and a rear side oriented away from the wheel, the plate having a plurality of holes and closing member(s), wherein each closing member exhibits a rest position in which the closing member closes holes at the rear side thereof, and a deflected position in which a dynamic air pressure pushes the closing member away from its rest position, thereby allowing air to pass through the hole, and thereby reducing the aerodynamic drag of the mudflap.
DETECTOR ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE
Resin plate-shaped mudguards 11 are disposed on vehicle width direction outer sides of left and right side members 7 below a cab. A cab rear member 12 is fixed to a vehicle body frame 5 and extends upward from the vehicle body frame 5 to support a rear end side of the cab from below. Mudguard brackets 17 for supporting the left and right mudguards 11 are fixed to an upper end portion of a support member 15L of the cab rear member 12. The mudguard 11 is disposed forward of the mudguard bracket 17 and supported by the mudguard bracket 17. A BSM radar 10 detects information of an object around a vehicle, is disposed on a vehicle width direction outer end portion behind the mudguard 11, and is fixed to a second bracket 19 of the mudguard bracket 17 via a radar bracket 20.

A tractor (1) has a mudguard device (5) including a cover element (50) suitable to surround at least along an arc of circumference the respective wheel assembly (100) and suitable to act as a separation element along a transverse axis (Y-Y) between the respective wheel assembly (100) and an operating area (200) containing components of the tractor (1). A support system (51) is suitable to attach the cover element (50) to the respective axle (10). The cover element (50) can be guided in movement from a covering position in which the cover element covers the respective wheel assembly (100) to an open position in which the operating area (200) is accessible, and vice versa.

The track system includes a drive wheel supported by an axle housing that drives a continuous ground-engaging track, a saddle assembly that guides the track about the drive wheel and an undercarriage frame that supports one or more idler wheels that guide the track along a ground surface. The track work vehicle includes a fender assembly that includes at least one fender coupled to the track system to overlap a portion of the track.

A mud flap for a wheeled vehicle includes an upper mounting portion and an extended protection portion. The extended protection portion includes at least two areas with slotted air flow openings. An upper slot area includes rows of elongated slots with the slots arranged in columns in each row. A lower slot area includes rows of elongated slots with the slots arranged in columns in each row. The slots in the upper slot area have heights that are greater than the heights of slots in the lower slot area. In some embodiments, a middle slot area is positioned between the upper slot area and the lower slot area. The slots in the middle slot area have different heights in different rows. In some embodiments, at least a portion of the slots in the upper slot area is replaced with diagonal mounting features.
FENDER SUPPORT ARM WITH BOLT-RETAINING STRIP
A bolt-retaining strip for a fender support arm may include a base with a first surface configured to be seated against an elongated support member, a second surface opposite the first surface, and a hole dimensioned to receive a shank of a bolt extending from the first surface to the second surface. A first arm and a second arm extending from the second surface may be positioned on opposite lateral sides of the hole so that the head of the bolt can be received therebetween. A lip may extend from a respective interior surface of each of the first and second arms towards the opposite arm and can be dimensioned to extend over a portion of the head of the bolt. A flange may be positioned proximate each of the first and second arms and can be configured to restrict rotation of the bolt relative to the hole.

An attachment structure of a front fender cover of a utility vehicle, the attachment structure includes: a front fender; a front fender cover attached to the front fender by being inserted to a first end of the front fender and locked at a second end of the front fender; and a retaining member attached to the front fender or the front fender cover and configured to retain the front fender cover at the second end of the front fender at a predetermined distance from the front fender in a state where the front fender cover is inserted to the front fender and is not locked.
