Cargo box reinforcement system

A cargo box (10) reinforcement system (20) includes an upper front panel reinforcement (22) securable to a cargo box front panel (18) and side wall panels (14, 16). The system (20) including a pair of side reinforcements (24, 26). Each side reinforcement (24, 26) is securable to one side of the pair of side panels (14, 16) of the cargo box (10). Each side reinforcement (24, 26) is secured with an end (40) of the upper front panel reinforcement (22). Also, the system (20) includes a pair of gussets (28, 30). Each gusset (28, 30) is coupled with the upper front panel reinforcement (22) and one of the pair of side reinforcements (24, 26).

Cargo box reinforcement system

A cargo box (10) reinforcement system (20) includes an upper front panel reinforcement (22) securable to a cargo box front panel (18) and side wall panels (14, 16). The system (20) including a pair of side reinforcements (24, 26). Each side reinforcement (24, 26) is securable to one side of the pair of side panels (14, 16) of the cargo box (10). The invention relates to a vehicle component, comprising a thermoplastic part; a metal insert having an anchoring portion, a peripheral portion, and a first insert surface and an opposite second insert surface, wherein the first surface is overmolded by the thermoplastic part, a thermoplastic rib overmolded on a second surface of the metal insert the rib extending from the second surface and being at least partly adjacent to the thermoplastic part; and a strut component attached to the metal insert at the anchoring portion on the first surface of tire metal insert. The invention further relates to a vehicle comprising such a vehicle component, wherein the vehicle is one of a railway vehicle, a marine vehicle, a road vehicle, or an aircraft.

Tonneau cover tie-down assembly

A tonneau cover assembly located over the cargo bed of a truck is provided. The tonneau cover assembly includes a base panel that extends over the cargo bed of the truck. The tonneau cover also includes at least one cover section that selectively shrouds the cargo bed and is located adjacent the base panel. The tonneau cover assembly includes either one or both a tie-down block assembly and/or a tether assembly.

Tonneau cover tie-down assembly

A tonneau cover assembly located over the cargo bed of a truck is provided. The tonneau cover assembly includes a base panel that extends over the cargo bed of the truck. The tonneau cover also includes at least one cover section that selectively shrouds the cargo bed and is located adjacent the base panel. The tonneau cover assembly includes either one or both a tie-down block assembly and/or a tether assembly.

SIDE-BY-SIDE UTILITY VEHICLE

A utility vehicle includes a plurality of ground engaging members and a frame supported by the plurality of ground engaging members. The frame assembly extends generally along a longitudinal axis of the utility vehicle. The utility vehicle further includes a front seating section coupled to the frame. The front seating section is configured to support an operator and a first passenger. Additionally, the utility vehicle includes a rear seating section coupled to the frame. The rear seating section is configured to support a second passenger and a third passenger. The rear seating section has an angled panel configured as a dead pedal for the second and third passengers, and a portion of the rear seating section extends forwardly into the front seating section.

SUPPORT OR STIFFENER FOR TRUCK BEDS AND THE LIKE

According to some illustrative embodiments, a novel vehicle bed support or stiffener is provided. In the preferred embodiments, the vehicle bed support or stiffener is uniquely configured such that the structure does not obstruct or encroach the vehicle bed region of a vehicle. In some preferred embodiments, the vehicle bed support or stiffener is fixed to a vehicle bed with an upwardly extending front support and stiffening wall extending laterally along an end of said floor and downwardly below a plane of the floor and extending laterally along an end of at least one of said left and right side walls and outwardly away from the vehicle bed.

A retractable truck bed closure is disclosed herein. The retractable truck bed closure comprises a pair of frames that extend across a truck bed between sidewalls of the truck bed. The closure may be moved between a stored configuration and an extended configuration along the pair of frames to open, and close, a portion of the truck bed, respectively. The frames may be attachable to the truck, or may be integrated into portions of the truck, such as the sidewalls of the truck bed or the rear of the cab of the truck.
