ELECTRONIC CONTROL DEVICE, ELECTRIC POWER STEERING DEVICE, AND CONTROL DEVICE FOR ELECTRIC POWER STEERING DEVICE
A control device of an electric power steering device includes an arithmetic processing device having a comparison unit, a failure diagnosis unit, and a drive control unit. The comparison unit compares a difference between a first output signal output from a first sensor and a second output signal output from a second sensor with a first threshold value to determine a magnitude relationship, and compares a difference between the first output signal and a third output signal output from a third sensor with a second threshold value to determine a magnitude relationship. Based on a result of the comparison unit, the failure diagnosis unit identifies one abnormal sensor among the first, second and third sensor. Using output values from two normal sensors that are not identified as abnormal sensors among the first, second and third sensor, the drive control unit generates a drive control signal for driving an electric motor.

A method and device for controlling a rear-axle steering system, in particular a rear-axle steering system of a motor vehicle, determines a current physical condition of the rear-axle steering system on the basis of a detected current operating state and a pre-determined reference operating state of the rear-axle steering system. The method defines a maximum permissible steering angle of the rear-axle steering system depending on the estimated physical condition of the rear-axle steering system and depending on at least one of the operating parameters of driving speed, steering angle and steering angle speed of the vehicle, and actuates the rear-axle steering system such that the steering angle of the rear-axle steering system does not exceed the assigned defined maximum permissible steering angle for the current operating parameter(s) of the vehicle.
Motor Control Device, Motor Control Method, Hybrid System, Boost Converter System and Electric Power Steering System
The vibration and noise generated in a permanent magnet synchronous motor are effectively suppressed. A motor control device 1 comprises: a triangular wave generation unit 17 which generates a triangular wave signal Tr that is a carrier wave, a carrier frequency adjustment unit 16 which adjusts a carrier frequency fc that represents a frequency of the triangular wave signal Tr, and a gate signal generation unit 18 which performs pulse-width modulation on three-phase voltage commands Vu*, Vv*, Vw* according to a torque command T* using the triangular wave signal Tr, thereby generating a gate signal for controlling an operation of an inverter. The carrier frequency adjustment unit 16 adjusts the carrier frequency fc so as to change a voltage phase error Δθv representing a phase difference of the three-phase voltage commands Vu*, Vv*, Vw* and the triangular wave signal Tr based on the torque command T*, and a rotation speed ωr of a motor.
