An off highway vehicle having a plurality of track assemblies for supporting the vehicle for movement over terrains of various conditions. A track cleaning device is mounted on a chassis of the vehicle adjacent a powered roller of the track assembly. Each track cleaning device has an arcuate configured frame for supporting an endless chain assembly for movement in an arcuate path over an axel of the power driven roller of the track assembly for engaging, dislodging, and directing debris from the gap between the respective track assembly and chassis of the work vehicle.

To provide a crawler-type vehicle capable of efficiently scraping off mud from an upper road wheel. A pair of scraper members are disposed on one side in the front-rear direction and on other side in the front-rear direction of an upper road wheel. Each scraper member is formed with a claw that protrudes toward the upper road wheel. A right-left directional position of the tip of the claw of one scraper member and a right-left directional position of the tip of the claw of the other scraper member are different from each other.

Techniques are directed to utilizing a suspension protector to deflect debris away from a set of suspension components of a tracked vehicle. The tracked vehicle includes a vehicle body, a suspension, and a set of suspension protectors. The suspension couples with the vehicle body and is constructed and arranged to control movement of the vehicle body using tracks. Each suspension protector couples with the vehicle body and is disposed a predefined distance from a respective wheel of the suspension to deflect debris thrown from the respective wheel and a respective track away from a respective set of suspension components of the suspension.

A soil disbursement system is provided. An undercarriage soil disbursement system for a heavy equipment vehicle including a vehicle body and an undercarriage including a track, comprising one or more conveyors configured to be mounted within the undercarriage for collecting debris from the tracks and discharging the debris out a side of the undercarriage, a drive for actuating the one or more conveyors and one or more sweeping blades configured to be mounted on an underside of the vehicle body, whereby during rotation of the vehicle body the sweeping blades push debris from the track onto the one or more conveyors.

A mining machine includes a frame having a guide rail, the guide rail having a central portion. The mining machine also includes a shoe having a recessed area that defines a roller path, the shoe further having a drive lug, wherein the central portion of the guide rail is configured to be disposed within the recessed area. The mining machine also includes a cutting tool coupled to the frame and positioned such that the cutting tool is configured to abrasively remove material from the drive lug as the drive lug passes by the cutting tool.

A snow grooming vehicle comprising a support frame; an engine; two tracks mounted on opposite sides of the support frame itself, coupled to and driven by the engine; and comprising a first plurality of bristles arranged in a portion of the snow grooming vehicle adjacent to the track so as to capture the snow collected on the track.

For track vehicles having drive assemblies that are susceptible to buildup of mud and debris that can result in damage to the track and drive assembly, clearing members are provided that clear buildup while avoiding contact with components of the track vehicle as the track frame oscillates.

A device for cleaning the tracks of a track-driven vehicle comprising a mounting plate, at least one positioning arm connected to and extending from the mounting plate, and at least one brush assembly attached to and extending from a positioning arm, where the mounting plate, positioning arm, and brush assembly are configured so that when the mounting plate is mounted to a vehicle the brush is positioned to clean the track of the vehicle.

A mining machine includes a frame having a guide rail, the guide rail having a central portion. The mining machine also includes a shoe having a recessed area that defines a roller path, the shoe further having a drive lug, wherein the central portion of the guide rail is configured to be disposed within the recessed area. The mining machine also includes a cutting tool coupled to the frame and positioned such that the cutting tool is configured to abrasively remove material from the drive lug as the drive lug passes by the cutting tool.

The invention is a track mat attachment for a tracked vehicle designed to remove mud and debris from the space between the tracks. The mat that fits flush with the undercarriage wall inside the area of the tracks where mud and debris build up. The mat is the shape of the undercarriage wall with angled out lip at the top of the mat with curve idler openings where the idlers are for the vehicle. The mat will have eyelets at the bottom which can be attached to a rope, chain or cord to pull the mat out of where it is on the undercarriage. When the mat is pulled out it will bring out all of the mud and debris that has been deposited there. The mat will be mad of a hard sturdy material and may have supports that help it maintain its shape and give it the ability to pull the mud out for the location.
