Undercarriage noise damping assembly
A sprocket damping assembly for a sprocket wheel of a track-type work machine may include an annular damping ring having an annular retention device. The damping ring may include a ring body section having a ring body section radial thickness, and a retention groove section integrally formed at an outboard side of the ring body section. The retention groove section may have a retention groove section axial width and a retention groove section radial thickness. The retention device may have a retention device axial width that is less than or equal to the retention groove section axial width. The retention device is disposed on the retention groove section when the damping ring is disposed on a sprocket drum outer surface of the sprocket wheel to retain the sprocket damping assembly. The retention groove section radial thickness may be less than the ring body section radial thickness.
DEFORMABLE WHEELS AND TRACK SYSTEMS COMPRISING SAME
A deformable wheel is disclosed. The deformable wheel includes a hub, at least one resilient member connected to the hub, and a plurality of circumferentially positioned rim portions connected to the at least one resilient member, where each one of the plurality of rim portions is moveable relative to the hub about the at least one resilient member. A track system including the deformable wheel is also disclosed.
TRACK ASSEMBLY VIBRATION LIMITING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A work machine includes a drive wheel, a drivable track engaged with the drive wheel, a deformable spacer coupled to the drive wheel, and a secondary weight coupled to the deformable spacer. The deformable spacer facilitates oscillation of the secondary weight relative to the drive wheel to limit vibrations of the work machine.

METHOD FOR POSITIVE DRIVE OF ENDLESS TRACK FOR COMPACT TRACK LOADER AND CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT
Compact track loaders include a main body having a pair of drive shafts extending from opposing sides of the main body and an engine which drives the pair of drive shafts, and two track suspension systems, where each of the two track suspension systems is securely attached to each drive shaft of the pair of drive shafts, and the suspension system includes a positive drive wheel, a chassis, a front idler, a rear idler, and a plurality of rollers. An endless track is securely and movingly mounted onto each of the track suspension systems, and the endless track includes an elongate carcass, an outer portion having a plurality of ground engaging tread lugs, and an inner portion having a plurality of elastomeric guide-drive lugs. Only the two track suspension systems propel and steer the compact track loader, and vibration level is decreased up to 3 dB, 5 dB, or even 7 dB.
Multi-gear cassette and damping device
The invention relates to a damping device on a multi-gear cassette for a rear wheel of a bicycle, wherein percussive forces produced by the chain members running from the slack span of the chain onto the sprocket are damped. This is achieved by damping the chain in the region of the chain run-in on the sprocket where no loads are borne. In one embodiment, a damping ring is provided for the purpose of supporting the chain link plates, and the tooth contour of the tooth flank which does not transmit load force is set back, and the tooth root space according to the invention is recessed toward the hub center. As such, when the chain is fed in to the sprocket, the chain link plate contacts the damping ring rather than the chain roller impacting the tooth flank or the tooth base.
SPROCKET DAMPING ASSEMBLY FOR A TRACK-TYPE MACHINE
A sprocket damping assembly may include at least one arc-shaped damping pad with a plurality of through holes, at least one arc-shaped backing plate with a plurality of through holes, and a plurality of tubular spacers, each including a central through hole. The sprocket damping assembly includes an assembled configuration, where a portion of the tubular spacers is located on one side of the at least one arc-shaped damping pad and the at least one arc-shaped backing plate is located on an opposite side of the at least one arc-shaped damping pad. An axial length of the tubular spacers may align the at least one arc-shaped damping pad with an edge of the drive sprocket, adjacent to teeth of the drive sprocket. The at least one arc-shaped damping pad may be formed of an elastomeric material.
DAMPING RING ASSEMBLY
A damping ring assembly may include a plurality of damping members, each of the damping members including an arc length, a radial thickness, a plurality of recesses located on an end surface and a retention groove on an outer surface of the damping members. A damping ring assembly may also include a plurality of brackets for attaching the plurality of damping members to a circumferential surface of a drive sprocket, the plurality of brackets each including a radially inner leg, a radially outer leg, and a joining central portion that connects the radially inner leg and the radially outer leg.
