Track drive
A track drive for outdoor power equipment has a support frame with a centerline and a hub bearing attached to the support frame. A drive sprocket having a nesting interior half and exterior half is attached to the hub bearing, which enables the drive sprocket to rotate relative to the support frame. The drive sprocket is attached to an associated drive hub of a piece of outdoor power equipment. Drive sprocket teeth are spaced radially about the drive sprocket, with a first set of drive teeth attached to the interior half sprocket and located on an interior side of the support frame. A second set of drive teeth are attached to the exterior half sprocket and located on an exterior side of the support frame. The drive sprocket transmits a rotational force to an endless track to rotate the endless track and propel the outdoor power equipment.

Winged sprocket segments with notches
The sprocket member keeps the sprocket centered within the link box while the notches or cut-outs allow mud, dirt, or other material to move out of the link box formed of the track chain assembly by two track bushings and two track links that form a rectangular shaped perimeter. The spacing provided by the wings of the sprocket member reduce wear on the track links near a track bushing and track link interface such as a press-fit connection by spacing the lugs of the sprocket member away from the interface.

TRACK DRIVE
Provided is a track drive for outdoor power equipment including a support frame and a drive axle configured to attach to an associated drive hub. A hub bearing is mounted on the drive axle and the support frame enabling the drive axle to rotate relative to the support frame. A drive sprocket is attached to the drive axle and includes an interior half sprocket and an exterior half sprocket. The half sprockets are located on either side of the support frame. Drive teeth are spaced radially about the drive sprocket. The drive sprocket is movably engaged with an endless track to transmit force to rotate the endless track and propel the outdoor power equipment. A kit for adding or replacing a track drive of outdoor power equipment is also provided.
MACHINE COMPONENT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
A sprocket wheel, which is an example of the machine component, includes a base made of a first metal, and an overlay disposed in contact with the base to cover at least a part of a surface of the base. The overlay includes a matrix made of a second metal, and hard particles dispersed in the matrix. The surface of the overlay is a forged surface. The hard particles located in an overlay surface region within an average particle diameter of the hard particles from the surface of the overlay are arranged side by side while being embedded in the overlay.
Track system for vehicle
A track system for a vehicle, the vehicle having a drive axle, the track system comprising a drive sprocket including a hub structured to be connected to the drive axle, a plurality of teeth radially outward of the hub, a rim at least indirectly attached to the hub, the rim including: a body, a body outer surface, a recess in the rim body inward of the body outer surface, a resiliently deformable ring disposed in the recess, the ring structured and arranged with respect to the body so as to be less rigid than the body, a resiliently deformable tread extending outwardly of the rim-outer surface, the tread connected to the ring, a resiliently deformable track disposed around the drive sprocket, the track having a track-inner surface in contact with the tread.
