MOBILE ROBOT
A mobile robot may include a first track located on a first side of a robot body and a second track located on a second side of the robot body. The first track and the second track may be configured to cause movement of the robot body relative to a first surface. The mobile robot may also include a crutch. The crutch may have a crutch arm extending from a magnet base, where the crutch includes a crutch magnet secured to the magnet base, where the crutch arm is rotatable relative to the robot body about an axis, and where the magnet base is fixed relative to the crutch arm such that the crutch magnet moves when the crutch arm rotates about the axis.

The invention relates to a hybrid surface traversing apparatus adapted to be adhered to a (e.g., submerged or in air) surface by a non-flow-through pressure differential, the apparatus includes a frame forming a chamber; a seal (e.g., closed-cell foam) having a closed seal perimeter (e.g., a closed polygon, a quadrilateral, and the like) defining an opening of the chamber, the seal perimeter adapted substantially for rolling relative to the chamber and for contact with the surface to be traversed to prevent leakage and maintain a non-flow-through seal with the surface; a suction pump structured and arranged to produce the (e.g., negative) pressure differential and cooperate with the seal to adhere the apparatus to the surface; and a drive configured to move the apparatus relative to the surface.
Hybrid surface-traversing apparatus and method

MAGNETIC WHEEL
A magnetic wheel includes: a balance block; a magnetic body which is provided in the balance block and attaches the balance block to an attachment object with a magnetic force; and a magnetic shielding block which is provided in the balance block and guides a magnetic field generated in the magnetic body toward the attachment object.
Robotic climbing platform
A robotic climbing platform has a chassis and a carriage adapted to support and move the chassis relative to a climbing surface. An adhesion mechanism provides an adhesion force between the climbing platform and the climbing surface. The adhesion mechanism has one or more suction pads adapted to retain an adhesion force between the climbing platform and the climbing surface during movement of the chassis relative to the climbing surface.
Robotic climbing platform
A robotic climbing platform has a chassis and a carriage adapted to support and move the chassis relative to a climbing surface. An adhesion mechanism provides an adhesion force between the climbing platform and the climbing surface. The adhesion mechanism has one or more suction pads adapted to retain an adhesion force between the climbing platform and the climbing surface during movement of the chassis relative to the climbing surface.

The present invention relates to a vacuum wall crawler having at least one vacuum track unit comprising a track frame, two pulleys provided in opposite ends of the track frame, and defining a wheelbase, an endless track arranged to circulate on the two pulleys, and comprising a flexible band, said flexible band comprising a plurality of apertures, and having a thickness, a vacuum distribution box provided in said track frame wherein the vacuum distribution box is in communication with a portion of the apertures to distribute a vacuum to the portion of apertures as the endless track circulates, where the thickness of the flexible band is 5-20% of the wheel base.
System for extracting a pool cleaning robot
A system for extraction of a pool cleaning robot from a pool, the system may include a pool cleaning robot interface that is arranged to be coupled to a pool cleaning robot during an exit process during which the pool cleaning robot is extracted from the pool; and a pool cleaning robot manipulator that is coupled to the pool cleaning robot interface, wherein the pool cleaning robot manipulator is arranged to move the pool cleaning robot interface between a first and second portion; wherein when the pool cleaning robot interface is at the first position and is coupled to the pool cleaning robot, the pool cleaning robot is within the pool; wherein when the pool cleaning robot interface is at the second position and is coupled to the pool cleaning robot, the pool cleaning robot is positioned outside the pool.

A caterpillar device includes: a water film removing part which is provided in a power transmission member including chains, presses and removes a water film between an attachment object as a magnetic material, and the power transmission member with a magnetic force, and attaches the power transmission member to the attachment object to secure a frictional force; and an apparatus body magnet attachment part which is connected to the power transmission member and attaches the body of the apparatus to the attachment object.
