A traction device for an elastomeric track comprises a first bracket comprising a first portion comprising a tapered surface and a second portion configured to be removably coupled to the first portion to define a U-shaped channel configured to receive at least a portion of an elastomeric track, a first chain coupled to the first bracket at a first end of the first chain, a second bracket coupled to a second end of first chain opposite the first bracket, and a plate coupled to the first chain between the first bracket and the second bracket, the plate configured to substantially prevent the first chain from entering the recesses of the elastomeric track. Related traction devices and methods of attaching a traction device to an elastomeric track are also disclosed.

There is at least one link having a link body with a length and one connecting hole at each opposite end of the link body, and pins set to run through a pair of one hole of the link body and at least one hole of a ear of the traction bar in order to form a chain, wherein the pins are locked in relation to the holes of the ears so that rotation of the pins in the holes is prevented.

The ground engaging device (G) further comprises a fastening arrangement (A) for attaching the ground engaging device (G) to the endless track (E) so that the engagement member (10) is positioned in connection the outer side (Ea) of the endless track (E). The fastening arrangement (A) comprises a adjustment device (D) configured to allow self adjustment of the position of said engagement member relative to the endless track (E) based on pressure against the engagement member (10) towards the endless track (E).
