Steering device and method thereof
A steering device includes a steering power unit, a transmission unit, an upper control arm, a steering element, an eccentric bolt and a steering knuckle. The steering power unit has at least one torque-output end. The transmission unit is connected with the torque-output end. The steering element is connected with the transmission unit. The eccentric bolt, installed at the upper control arm, is connected with the steering power unit. The steering knuckle, mounted to a wheel disc, is connected with the steering element and the upper control arm, and used for controlling the wheel disc. The steering power unit drives the steering element to push or pull the steering knuckle for controlling a turning angle, and simultaneously drives the eccentric bolt to have the upper control arm to push or pull the steering knuckle for varying a camber angle of the wheel disc. In addition, a steering method is provided.
Three-wheeled tilting vehicle
A tiltable vehicle is configured to transform between an autonomous mode and a rideable mode by pivoting the handlebars and steering column of the vehicle about a pitch axis. In the autonomous mode, the steering column is folded back toward the chassis and a tiltable chassis of the vehicle is prevented from tilting. In the rideable mode, the steering column is unfolded and the chassis is free to tilt. In some examples, a tiltable vehicle includes features beneficial for vehicle-sharing, such as parking devices or a basket. These features may be included on any suitable vehicle and are not limited to use on transforming vehicles.
Tilting Wheeled Vehicle
A tilting, preferably three-wheeled, vehicle is disclosed that has a tilting mechanism and a universal steering linkage that allows the vehicle to have leaning and steering characteristics substantially similar to those offered by an in-line two-wheeled vehicle, but that does not require complex linkages and/or control systems to operate effectively. A tilting linkage is operably secured to a frame to allow a pair of spaced apart wheels to remain substantially aligned with the plane of the vehicle throughout its range of movement while still providing an increasing camber between the wheels as tiling of the vehicle increases. A tilting lock system may be provide to limit tilting of the vehicle upon predetermined criteria.
Control system for a grading machine
A grading machine includes a machine body, a grading blade, and at least one grading blade sensor configured to sense a position and orientation of the grading blade. The grading machine also includes a drawbar connecting the grading blade to the machine body, at least one drawbar sensor configured to sense a position and orientation of the drawbar, a user interface, and a control system. The control system may be configured to receive an input from the user interface and perform an automatic turnaround operation.

Steer-by-wire systems and methods providing tire force buildup compensation
A steer-by-wire system and method for a vehicle, including and utilizing: a steering wheel system including a steering wheel, an angle sensor or mechanism coupled or applied to the steering wheel and for determining an angular magnitude of the steering wheel and provide a corresponding control signal, and an angular rate sensor or mechanism coupled or applied to the steering wheel and for determining an angular rate of the steering wheel and provide a corresponding control signal offset; and a steering actuator system including a wheel angle actuator coupled to one or more wheels of the vehicle and for receiving the collective control signal and control signal offset and turning the wheels in response. The steering wheel system further includes an angular rate filter/tuner for receiving an angular rate input from the angular rate sensor or mechanism and deriving an angular offset output corresponding to the control signal offset.
Control system for a work machine
A control system is disclosed. The control system may include a first input component to control a lean angle of at least one set of wheels of a machine and to provide a visual and/or tactile indication of the lean angle. The control system may include a second input component to control an articulation angle of an articulated joint of the machine and to provide a visual and/or tactile indication of the articulation angle. The control system may include a third input component to control a rotation angle of an implement of the machine and to provide a visual and/or tactile indication of the rotation angle.

MOVABLE OBJECT WITH ATTITUDE CONTROL
A movable object such as a mobile robot is designed to be driven indoors or outdoors with improved stability. Stability is enhanced by an attitude control mechanism to improve attitude stability of the movable object in a direction perpendicular to a driving direction thereof. The movable object includes an attitude control motor including a connecting shaft having a first end connected to a body part and a second end connected to a wheel, wherein the second end of the connecting shaft is located higher or lower than the first end of the connecting shaft.
