BICYCLE CUSHION AND SUPPORT APPARATUS
Apparatuses, systems, and methods of providing support to a pelvis of a user are disclosed herein. Specifically, a cushioning and support apparatus is provided in separable sections that can be selectively positioned on a bicycle saddle. Both sections are provided with multiple protrusions and an opening in a central portion thereof to provide support to the ischium bones of the user. Both sections are designed to be positioned based a widest portion of the bicycle saddle and the sitting bone width of the user.
Ergonomically Designed Bicycle Saddle
Embodiments of the invention provide a customizable bicycle saddle for a bicycle. The bicycle saddle has been designed to allow it to be adjusted to match the ischial tuberosities of each rider's pelvis in order to minimize the pressure placed on other portions of the rider's body while seated on the bicycle. The bicycle saddle comprises a first seating portion that has been configured to allow a rider to sit on the bicycle, a second seating portion that has been configured to allow the rider to sit on the bicycle. The bicycle saddle also includes a first adjustment means configured to allow the first seating portion to be moved closer to the second seating portion, and a second adjustment means configured to allow the saddle to be moved closer to a forward portion on the bicycle.
Controlled deformation bicycle saddle
A bicycle saddle includes a shell fitted with fastening means for fastening the bicycle saddle to an associable bicycle, the shell extending, in a prevailing longitudinal direction (Y-Y), from a front end to a rear end, and a padding associated to an upper portion of the shell, opposite a frame of the associable bicycle. The shell has a rigid portion supporting the fastening means and a controlled deformation portion positioned between the rigid portion and the padding. The controlled deformation portion has at least one yielding insert adapted to deform elastically under compression during use.
Seating device and manufacturing method thereof
A manufacturing method of a seating device includes manufacturing an outer skin; manufacturing a core member via a foaming process; wrapping the core member in the outer skin, coupling a mounting plate at a bottom surface of the core member; and selectively coupling a mounting structure to the mounting plate to form the seating device. The outer skin is constructed to have a top skin layer adhered on a top surface of the core member, a side skin layer adhered on a side surface of the core member, and a bottom skin layer adhered on a bottom surface of the core member. Particularly, the top skin layer of the outer skin is adhered on the top surface of the core member edge-to-edge to initially align and retain the outer skin on the core member.
BICYCLE SADDLE
The present invention relates to a bicycle saddle including: a saddle frame disposed on a bicycle frame; a saddle plate disposed on top of the saddle frame; and a saddle seat disposed on top of the saddle plate to elastically support the hips, wherein the saddle seat is divided into a first seat and a second seat having top portions rounded with a given radius of curvature and disposed spaced apart from each other to a band-like shape along both longitudinal edges of the saddle plate, and between the first seat and the second seat is disposed an arch-shaped ischium accommodation portion for accommodating the ischial tuberosities of the pelvis thereinto to prevent the arteries, veins, and nerves from a rider's anus to the genitals from being compressed against the saddle seat by his or her body weight. Accordingly, the anus and genitals as well as the arteries, veins, and nerves connected from the anus to the genitals can be basically prevented from being compressed against the saddle seat, thereby permitting the rider to be free of perineum pains, prostate diseases, and dysuria.

The bicycle saddle has been designed to allow it to be adjusted to match the ischial tuberosities of each rider's pelvis in order to minimize the pressure placed on other portions of the rider's body while seated on the bicycle. The bicycle saddle also includes a first adjustment means configured to allow the first seating portion to be moved closer to the second seating portion, and a second adjustment means configured to allow the saddle to be moved closer to a forward portion on the bicycle.
Bicycle saddle adjustment system and method
A bicycle saddle adjustment system has a base having one or more adjustment channels therein, and a first and second saddle for coupling to the base, the first and second saddle laterally adjustable via the one or more adjustment channels in the base. The bicycle saddle adjustment system may further have a removably attachable adapter that allows for a quick fitment between various saddles and the bicycle, the adapter allowing for temporary or permanent attachment to the base.
Bicycle rest—impotence prevention
The invention provides method for bicycle riders to rest without sitting. The device can be any shape but the most common shape will be that of a wing. The device will be located behind the rider similar to location of a common bicycle seat. It was designed for men but can be enjoyed by women that do not find the common bicycle seat to be comfortable.
Adjustable Disarticulated Saddle Having Independent Suspension System And Methods of Use Thereof
The invention includes apparatus and methods of use for an adjustable disarticulated seat, which in a preferred embodiment may include one, or a plurality of independently or synchronously adjustable disarticulated inserts positioned within insert interface apertures on the distal extended portion of a saddle. An actuator element may be responsive to the one or more disarticulated inserts through one or more cords configured to be retracted or release in response to the action of the actuator causing the extension upward or release downward movement of the one or more inserts within the insert interface aperture.
Seat devices comprising artificial muscles
A seat that includes an upper surface, a lower surface, one or more pressure sensors communicatively coupled to a controller, and a plurality of artificial muscles disposed between the upper surface and the lower surface. Each of the plurality of artificial muscles is communicatively coupled to the controller. Each of the plurality of artificial muscles includes a housing having an electrode region and an expandable fluid region, a dielectric fluid housed within the housing, and an electrode pair positioned in the electrode region of the housing. The electrode pair is actuatable between a non-actuated state and an actuated state such that actuation from the non-actuated state to the actuated state directs the dielectric fluid into the expandable fluid region, expanding the expandable fluid region.
