Head Tube Assembly
20220402571 · 2022-12-22 ·

The present invention relates to a head assembly for a bicycle including a front fork tube arranged to extend through a head tube of a frame of the bicycle and a tensioning assembly for tensioning of the headset assembly relative to the front fork tube, such as for rotation relative to the front fork tube by means of a suitable bearing. The tensioning assembly includes a tensioning member, such as a bridge or star, preferably with an inner screw thread, arranged in the front fork tube, suitable for receiving a fixation tensioner, such as a tensioning bolt, preferably with an outer screw thread, and for receiving of a tensioning force of the headset assembly, a tensioning sleeve for arranging about a length of an end of the front fork tube and for extending somewhat beyond the end of the end of the front fork tube, and a tensioning cap for applying the tension between the front fork tube and the tensioning sleeve by means of the fixation tensioner. The headset assembly is suitable for functional mounting and tensioning by means of the fixation tensioner prior to mounting of a bicycle handlebar or handlebar bend to the headset assembly.

PARTIALLY INTEGRATED BATTERY AND ASSOCIATED ELECTRIC BICYCLES
20220388600 · 2022-12-08 ·

Electric bicycles having partially integrated batteries, as well as down tubes that accommodate such batteries, controllers, and other components, are described. Further, controller mount components and wiring harnesses are also described. Thus, in some embodiments, an electric bicycle includes various devices or components that facilitate easy and efficient mounting of electrical components (e.g., batteries, controllers, cables and/or wires, and so on) to or within frame components of the electric bicycle.

Bicycle Fork and Bicycle Fork System
20230035326 · 2023-02-02 ·

A bicycle fork including two fork legs connected with each other via a fork bridge. The fork bridge is connected with a steer tube. For a simpler arrangement of shift cables, hydraulic lines, cables and the like, the steer tube includes at least one flattening extending in the longitudinal direction of the steer shaft.

Bicycle handlebar

The utility model discloses an improved bicycle handlebar, including a handlebar tube and a handlebar head. The handlebar head includes a curved arm and grips. The curved arm is of a structure that inclines forward relative to the handlebar tube. The grips naturally stretch along two ends of the curved arm toward the left and right sides. The handlebar tube is provided with a positioning groove and a limiting hole, a support tube is provided with a positioning protruding portion. After the handlebar tube is inserted into the support tube, the positioning protruding portion is inserted into the positioning groove to ensure that the handlebar will not rotate by itself. Screw the limit screw into the limiting hole to prevent the handlebar from being too deep to pull out. The handlebar is designed to be of a structure, which is more comfortable to use.

Bicycle Frame Element

A bicycle frame element includes a frame tube, such as a downtube. The same forms an accommodation space for accommodating a battery. Further, a channel element is arranged in particular in the frame tube, which extends in the longitudinal direction of the frame tube, and serves to accommodate cables, wires, hydraulic lines and the like. To simplify the mounting, the channel element can be closed with a cover element. The cover element is held so as to be slidable in particular in the longitudinal direction.

Cable Guiding Element

A cable guiding element for guiding cables such as Bowden cables, hydraulic lines and the like is arranged inside a bicycle frame, in particular inside a head tube of a bicycle frame. The cable guiding element has a particularly cylindrical sleeve element. In the assembled state, the sleeve element is arranged inside the head tube and surrounds a steer tube of a bicycle fork. For defining the position of at least one cable, at least one holding element is connected with the sleeve element.

Steering Stop for Bicycle Handlebars
20230150606 · 2023-05-18 ·

A steering stop for bicycle handlebars includes a first stop element. The stop element can be connected to a steer tube of a bicycle fork in particular in a clamping manner and includes two stops. A second stop element can be fixed on the bicycle frame and cooperates with the first stop element. For passing lines therethrough, which originate for example at a brake and/or gearshift unit, the first stop element includes at least one recess.

Fixing Element for Lines on a Bicycle Component
20230192212 · 2023-06-22 ·

A fixing element for lines, such as a brake line, on a bicycle component, in particular a steer tube, has a base body. The base body at least partly surrounds the bicycle component. A receiving element is formed, in particular integrally with the base body. The receiving element serves for receiving at least one line, in particular the brake line. For retention of the fixing element, in particular on a steer tube, retaining elements are provided which are preferably designed as cable ties.
