Telescopic apparatus for human-powered vehicle
A telescopic apparatus for a human-powered vehicle comprises a first hydraulic chamber, a second hydraulic chamber, a valve member, a cam member, and an actuator. The second hydraulic chamber is configured to be in fluid communication with the first hydraulic chamber. The valve member is configured to control a fluid communication between the first hydraulic chamber and the second hydraulic chamber. The cam member is rotatable about a rotational axis to move the valve member in a movement direction. The actuator is configured to rotate the cam member. The actuator includes an output shaft rotatable about an actuation rotational axis. The actuation rotational axis is offset from the rotational axis as viewed in the movement direction.
ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT SEAT POST
An adjustable height seat post including supporting means connectable to a bicycle frame, a quill associated with said supporting means and having a head suitable to clamp rails of a bicycle saddle, hydraulic adjusting means, associated with said supporting means, for lifting or lowering said quill in a desired position selected by the user, said hydraulic adjusting means including a cylindrical chamber inside which a piston assembly is foreseen, and valve means, suitable to selectively open or close an hydraulic path through said piston assembly for selectively lock or unlock the position of said piston assembly relative to said cylindrical chamber, and the valve means comprise at least a valve body, associated with said piston assembly, which is selectively rotatable from an open position, in which the hydraulic path is open, to a closed position in which the hydraulic path is closed.
HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE SEATPOST ASSEMBLY
A seatpost assembly, including a first seatpost portion, a second seatpost portion axially displaceable relative to the first seatpost portion along an axial axis, and an engagement element with a circumferential coil portion having a first termination and a second termination. The engagement element may be elastically deflected in a relaxing direction toward an engaged orientation to provide restraint of the axial displacement at a restraining interface with one of the first and second seatpost portions; and in a deflecting direction toward a released orientation for reduced restraint. The engagement element has an axially maintained engagement with the other one of the first seatpost portion. Where one of: (i) the released orientation corresponds to a radially outwardly expanded orientation of the engagement element relative to the deflected position; and (ii) the released orientation corresponds to a radially inwardly contracted orientation of the engagement element relative to the deflected position.
TRAVEL ADJUST SYSTEM FOR DROPPER SEATPOSTS
A dropper seatpost assembly is disclosed. The dropper seatpost assembly includes a lower post comprising a travel adjustment bore and an upper post configured to interactively operate with respect to the lower post. The dropper seatpost assembly also includes a translating assembly configured to maintain one or both of an axial orientation and a rotational orientation of the upper post with respect to the lower post and at least one travel adjustment spacer removably coupled with the travel adjustment bore, the at least one travel adjustment spacer to interact with the translating assembly to reduce a maximum travel distance of the interactive operation of the upper post with respect to the lower post.
Operating device
An operating device is basically provided with a base, a first operating member, a second operating member and an electric operating unit. The base is configured to mount the operating device to a handlebar. The base defines a mounting axis. The first operating member is pivotally arranged with respect to the base around a pivot axis. The second operating member is pivotally arranged with respect to the base around the pivot axis. The second operating member is a separate member from the first operating member. The electric operating unit is configured to be activated in response to a pivotal movement of the first operating member. The first operating member is arranged closer to the mounting axis than the electric operating unit.
PLURALITY OF ELECTRONICALLY ACTUATED COMPONENTS INCLUDING A DROPPER SEATPOST
An electronically actuated dropper seatpost is disclosed. The electronically actuated dropper seatpost includes an upper post and a lower post telescopically coupled with the upper post. The electronically actuated dropper seatpost also includes an electronically adjustable valve assembly configured to control a telescopic movement of the upper post and the lower post. The electronically adjustable valve assembly including a valve controlling a flow path and a motive component, wherein an electronic input to the motive component will change a flow rate of a fluid through the valve.
BICYCLE COMPONENT, NON-CONTACT CHARGING SYSTEM AND NON-CONTACT CHARGING METHOD
A bicycle component is provided other than a rear derailleur and a drive unit. The bicycle component includes an electrical part, a rechargeable power source and a non-contact charging portion. The rechargeable power source is electrically connected to the electrical part. The non-contact charging portion is configured to wirelessly receive external electric power and to supply the external electric power to the rechargeable power source. A non-contact charging method is also provided for charging the rechargeable power source of the bicycle component.
BICYCLE COMPONENT CONTROL
An electrically actuated component of a bicycle includes a first controller configured to receive a data stream from a second controller. The data stream includes one or more packets received by the first controller. For each of the one or more packets received by the first controller, the first controller is configured to identify a number of the one or more packets of the data stream received by the first controller, and compare the identified number of packets to a predetermined threshold number of packets. After all packets of the one or more packets of the data stream have been received by the first controller, the first controller is configured to initiate, based on the respective comparison, an action of the electrically actuated component or another electrically actuated component of the bicycle when the identified number of packets is less than the predetermined threshold number of packets.
Bicycle, bicycle assembly and method
A bicycle and method and bicycle assembly for a bicycle including a control device and at least one bicycle component whose operating state is variable during operation. An acoustic device with a sound converter is included for outputting information, controlled by the control device, on the operating state of the bicycle component by means of the acoustic device, and/or for capturing noises by means of the acoustic device and converting these to noise signals and utilizing them for controlling.
Rider-posture changing device
A rider-posture changing device is for a human-powered vehicle. The rider-posture changing device includes a first member, a second member, a positioning structure and an electric actuator. The second member is configured to be movable relative to the first member. The positioning structure is configured to adjustably position the first member relative to the second member.
