THREE-WHEELED TILTING VEHICLE
A tiltable vehicle has a pair of front wheels coupled to a tiltable chassis by a tilt linkage, such that the pair of front wheels and the chassis are configured to tilt in unison with respect to a roll axis of the chassis. The tilt linkage includes a four-bar linkage having a pair of upper bar segments coupled to the chassis at spaced-apart respective inboard joints. In some examples, the inboard joints of the upper bar segments are each disposed outboard of a central chassis joint of a lower bar of the tilt linkage. An orientation sensor is configured to detect directional information regarding a net force vector applied to the chassis, and a tilt actuator operatively coupled to the chassis and configured to selectively tilt the chassis. A controller is configured to selectively control the tilt actuator based on the directional information from the orientation sensor.
MULTI-WHEEL TRANSPORTATION VEHICLES AND RELATED METHODS
Transportation vehicles, suspension systems and related methods are provided herein. A three wheeled vehicle can include a frame having a first side and second side and a front end and a rear end and a steerable front wheel secured to the front end of the frame. The vehicle can also include a first trailing wheel arm with a first rear wheel and a second trailing wheel arm with a second rear wheel. The vehicle can also include a central suspension joint secured to the frame on which the first trailing wheel arm and the second trailing wheel arm are rotatably secured on either side of the frame. Further, the vehicle can include a horizontal linkage having a first end and a second end and a midsection between the first and second ends. The horizontal linkage can be pivotably connected to a pintle on the frame at the midsection beneath the first and second trailing wheel arms with the horizontal linkage linked to an underside of the first trailing wheel arm between the first wheel and the central suspension joint proximal to the first end of the horizontal linkage and linked to an underside of the second trailing wheel arm between the second wheel and the central suspension joint proximal to the second end of the horizontal linkage.
Tilting motor vehicle with tilting locking device
The motor vehicle (1) comprises at least one rear driving wheel (5) and two front steered wheels (7′, 7″). A tilting four bar linkage (11) allows the motor vehicle to perform a tilting movement, for example, when cornering. Support arms (21′, 21″) for front steered wheels (7′, 7″), which rotate around steering axes (21A′, 21A″) and are joined to each other by a steering bar (23), are associated with the tilting four bar linkage. Each wheel is constrained to the respective support arm with the interposition of a suspension (33; 33″). A tilting locking device comprises a brake (53′, 53″) which locks the springing movement of the respective suspension and the tilting movement of the four bar linkage.

Front two-wheel leaning vehicle
A front two-wheel leaning vehicle, including a handle, a steering shaft, a linkage mechanism and a load transfer mechanism. The load transfer mechanism includes a left-foot-placing part and a right-foot-placing part located between the left front wheel and the rear wheel, for left and right feet of the driver to be respectively placed thereon. The load transfer mechanism transfers a load to the left and right portions of the linkage mechanism through the left-foot-placing part and the right-foot-placing part, or through the right-foot-placing part and the left-foot-placing part, respectively. The steering shaft includes a handle adjusting mechanism configured to adjust, with respect to the left-foot-placing part and the right-foot-placing part, at least one of a handle height, which is a distance from a midpoint between the left and right front wheels to the grip, or an offset amount of the handle with respect to a rotation axis of the steering shaft.
VEHICLE
A vehicle includes a control switch that is configured to generate an operation signal, and a controller that is electrically connected to the control switch to receive the operation signal therefrom, and that is configured to, in response to receipt of the operation signal, transmit a control signal to a tilting mechanism for making the tilting mechanism operate in one of a locked state and an unlocked state. After the vehicle is powered on, the controller is further configured to, when the controller has continuously received the operation signal for a predetermined reception time, determine that the control switch is abnormal, stop transmitting the control signal and control a warning unit to output a warning signal.
Rotation locking device, suspension assembly, and vehicle
A rotation locking device includes a locking module and at least one engaging member. The at least one engaging member is rotatably coupled to the locking module. The locking module is configured to engaging and disengage the at least one engaging member, thereby refraining the at least one engaging member from rotating relative to the locking module.
SELF-SUPPORTING FOLDING SCOOTER
A foldable self-supporting scooter comprises at least three wheels, a steering column, a footboard, a front axle for receiving at least one front wheel, a rear suspension for receiving at least one rear wheel, and a folding mechanism that autonomously folds the scooter, wherein a synchronization rod provides that the center of gravity of the scooter remains between the front and rear wheels at all times during the folding operation, without the need for the scooter to be held by the user and without tipping over.
