Knee walker with four-wheel steering
A knee walker with four-wheel steering. The knee walker includes a frame, at least one front axle assembly, at least one rear axle assembly, a kneeling pad assembly, and a steering system. The steering system is configured to turn the rear axle assembly in the opposite direction from the front axle assembly. The opposing angles of the front and rear wheels enable the knee walker to perform tighter turns by eliminating rear wheel drag.
Axle connector adapter assembly
An axle connector adapter assembly, including: a frame element with a first frame member; an axle extending along an axial axis and including an engagement end with a first threadable portion; and an adapter with a second threaded portion for threadable engagement with the first threadable portion. The first frame member includes an open slot with an open entrance portion, a closed terminus region, slot sidewalls extending between the open entrance portion and the closed terminus region, a slot axis, an axially outward facing first outboard face, and an axially inward facing first inboard face. The adapter is assembled to the first frame member to include a rotationally keyed engagement between the adapter and the first frame member to limit rotation of the threaded portion relative to the first frame member about the axial axis. The adapter is preferably axially retained to the first frame member.
HUB FOR HUMAN-POWERED VEHICLE
A hub for a human-powered vehicle is provided that comprises a hub axle, a hub body, an electric power generator, and a communication device. The hub body is rotatably mounted on the hub axle about a rotational axis. The electric power generator is provided between the hub axle and the hub body. The electric power generator is configured to generate electric power by relative rotation between hub axle and the hub body. The communication device is located at least partly outside of the hub body. The communication device includes a wireless communicator configured to wirelessly communicate with an additional wireless communicator.
Cycle wheel suspension assembly having gas pistons with unequal gas piston areas
A suspension assembly for a cycle having improved stability includes a steering fork having a steering axis, a first arm, and a second arm, each of the first arm and the second arm having a fixed pivot and a shock pivot, the space between the first arm and the second arm defining a wheel opening. A shock link has a shock link fixed pivot and a shock link floating pivot. A shock absorber has a shock gas spring comprising a shock spring body a shock gas piston having a first gas piston area, a spring unit has a spring gas spring comprising a spring body and a spring gas piston having a second gas piston area. The first gas piston area is not equal to the second gas piston area. A mechanical trail distance increases as the suspension assembly compresses relative to a fully extended state.
BICYCLE QUICK RELEASE DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to a bicycle quick release device. The bicycle quick release device includes: an inner shaft; a lever connected to one end of the inner shaft, the lever being reciprocatively swingable between a release position and an urge position; an outer sleeve provided for the inner shaft to pass through, an outer circumferential face of the outer sleeve being provided with a sleeve body, an abutting portion disposed on one end of the sleeve body and an expansion portion disposed on the other end of the sleeve body, the expansion portion being provided with a plurality of axially extending sectioned grooves; an urging unit disposed between the lever and the abutting portion of the outer sleeve; and a tapered expansion unit connected to the other end of the inner shaft, an outer circumferential face of the tapered expansion unit being provided with a conical face.
Quick release device
A clamping mechanism for mounting and demounting bicycle components of at least partially muscle-powered two-wheeled vehicles such as bicycles, including at least one operating lever and a clamping component. The clamping mechanism includes two clamping parts, one of which clamping parts is a clamping sleeve and connected with the operating lever, and another of which clamping parts is formed at the clamping component. The operating lever can be moved from an engagement position; in which it is non-rotatably connected with the clamping component to a rotary position in which it is freely rotatable relative to the clamping component. In the rotary position, the operating lever is disposed closer to the clamping component than in the engagement position.
Adjustable axle retaining structure
An adjustable axle retaining structure is disclosed. The structure includes an axle receiving feature on a first leg of a fork assembly and a retaining sleeve within a clamping member on a second leg of the fork assembly. An axle is inserted through the clamping member, the wheel hub and coupled with the axle receiving feature. A component of the axle is tightened thereby moving the retaining sleeve partially out of the clamping member and toward the wheel hub until the wheel hub is in contact with both the retaining sleeve and the axle receiving feature, wherein the moving of the retaining sleeve allows the axle to radially couple the wheel hub with the fork assembly without modifying a preestablished geometry of the fork assembly.
DUAL SIDED SUSPENSION ASSEMBLY FOR A CYCLE WHEEL
A trailing link, multi-link suspension assembly for a cycle having improved stability includes a steering fork having a steering axis, a first arm, and a second arm. A shock absorber has an inline configuration, a gas spring, a first shock mount, and a second shock mount. A spring unit has a gas spring comprising a spring body, a first spring mount and a second spring mount A mechanical trail distance increases as the suspension assembly compresses relative to a fully extended state.
Vehicle wheel axle
The invention solves the issue of stiff mounting of a wheel to a bicycle frame. The essential feature of the invention is that in the seating nests of the axle are bulges and hollows with slanting surfaces. The outer contour of the axle's wall section, which is parallel to the wheel symmetry plane which goes through the slanting surface, has a non-circular shape, preferably the shape of a regular polygon or similar to a regular polygon or an irregular polygon or the shape of an irregular closed curve.
