BRAKING ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE AND USE THEREOF
Various technologies for reducing or increasing a speed of a personal transportation vehicle by rotating its handlebar. Some technologies provide this functionality based on a stem, a rack, and a brake. Some technologies provide this functionality based on a worm gear, a stem, and a brake. Some technologies provide this functionality based on a cam, a cam follower, a rod, a stem, and a brake.
ROTATIONAL BRAKING METHODS AND APPARATUSES
Various technologies for reducing a speed of land vehicle by rotating its handle bar. A device comprises: a handlebar having a longitudinal axis; a seat coupled to the handle bar; a line coupled to the seat; and a brake coupled to the line, wherein the handlebar is rotatable about the longitudinal axis such that the seat moves and thereby controls the brake via the line.
OPERATING DEVICE FOR HUMAN-POWERED VEHICLE
An operating device for a human-powered vehicle comprises a base member and an operating member. The base member extends in a longitudinal direction. The base member includes a first end portion, a second end portion, and an accommodating structure. The first end portion is configured to be coupled to a handlebar. The second end portion is opposite to the first end portion in the longitudinal direction. The accommodating structure is provided to the second end portion. The operating member is pivotally coupled to the base member about a pivot axis. The accommodating structure is disposed at a location which is the farthest from the first end portion in the second end portion along the longitudinal direction as viewed along the pivot axis. The accommodating structure includes an accommodating part configured to accommodate at least one of a power supply and circuitry.
ELECTRIC DEVICE FOR HUMAN-POWERED VEHICLE
An electric device for a human-powered vehicle comprises an accommodating structure. The accommodating structure includes a main body, an attachment member, and a power-supply accommodating part. The attachment member is configured to be attached to the main body. The power-supply accommodating part is provided at least one of the main body and the attachment member so as to accommodate a power supply, the power-supply accommodating part including an insertion opening and a first inner surface. The first inner surface extends along a reference plane and having a first outline defining a first area as viewed in a direction perpendicular to the reference plane. The insertion opening extends along an insertion opening plane non-parallel to the reference plane. The insertion opening has an opening outline defining an insertion opening area as viewed in a direction perpendicular to the insertion opening plane. The first area is larger than the insertion opening area.
FRICTION MOTOR POWERED SCOOTER
A scooter has a front wheel at a proximal end of a platform and a rear wheel at opposing distal end of the platform. A shaft extends upward from the proximal end of the platform. The shaft terminating in a handle bar. A friction motor propels one of the front wheel or the rear wheel of the scooter the scooter.
INTERACTIVE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VIRTUAL RIDE-SHARING WITH ELECTRIC VEHICLE
An interactive system and method for virtual ride-sharing with electric vehicle allows a vehicle operator to operate the electric vehicle, like an electric scooter, while simultaneously interacting with network users to share a riding experience through a social media site and the Internet directly from the electric vehicle. An in-vehicle camera captures vehicle data and posts vehicle data to a social media site. The vehicle operator performs social networking functions like: uploading content, downloading content, posting riding images, livestreaming content, and interacting with others on social media while operating electric vehicle. The electric vehicle comprises a step-through frame and is operable as a plug-in electric vehicle having electricity stored on board in a rechargeable battery to drive an electric motor. The vehicle has a slim aesthetic design, an aerodynamic manual brake fin, a mobile communication device holder, and an accelerator handle and a brake handle differentiated by color.
Brake Master Cylinder
A brake master cylinder assembly with adjustable fluid reservoir. The invention prevents air from entering a motorcycle hydraulic brake line by adjusting the fluid reservoir to be level with the ground of motorcycle operation. The brake handle remains parallel with the relative position of the handlebar the assembly is fastened to. All motorcycle brake master cylinders have a fluid reservoir and hydraulic piston that are in a fixed position relative to the handle and handlebar. The invention has a reservoir assembly which may be adjusted to any angle to keep the fluid reservoir level while the motorcycle is upright; allowing the motorcycle to have a brake handle and corresponding handlebar at any angle desired. The adjustable hydraulic fluid reservoir assembly prevents air from entering the brake line by reducing exaggerated angles incorporated with handlebar positions. The overall brake performance is therefore extended, mitigating risks' and extending service life.
PARKING BRAKE APPARATUS FOR SADDLED VEHICLE
To provide a parking brake apparatus for a saddled vehicle actuated in response to a reverse rotation on a throttle grip which is set in a simplified structure. A parking brake apparatus for a saddled vehicle includes a parking brake caliper configured to restrict a rotation of a rear wheel while the motorcycle is parked; a steering handle configured to steer a front wheel; and a throttle grip mounted on the steering handle and configured to control output of a power unit. The control unit actuates the parking brake caliper by a motor when at least the throttle grip is reversely rotated and the vehicle speed is zero. The throttle grip being reversely rotated is detected according to information from a throttle position sensor which is interlocked with the throttle grip.
CARDAN JOINT STEERING TITANIUM ALLOY HAND AND FOOT COOPERATIVELY OPERATED BICYCLE CAPABLE OF BEING RIDDEN WITH ONE LEG
The present invention relates to a cardan joint steering titanium alloy hand and foot cooperatively operated bicycle capable of being ridden with one leg, which comprises a bicycle front wheel (10), a front wheel fork frame (11), a bicycle rear wheel (20), a frame body (30), a seat cushion assembly (50), a steering handlebar (70), paired chain wheels (80) and a rear wheel fork frame (90). The upper end of a front fork rotating shaft (13) and the lower end of an assisting stem (76) are connected through a cardan joint component (77), symmetric ratchet wheels (21) are provided on the two sides of the bicycle rear wheel (20), the paired chain wheels (80) are fixed to the two sides of a frame middle shaft (88), pedal shaft pins (84) are symmetrically provided on the outer sides of the paired chain wheels (80), and the paired chain wheels (80) and the symmetric ratchet wheels (21) are connected through symmetric chains (23). By additionally providing the cardan joint component (77), the assisting sliding sleeve (60), the assisting swinging rod (46) and the assisting connecting rod (43), the present invention realizes the effect that the two hands participate in acting; by additionally providing the seat transverse swinging rod (45) and the pull rod swinging fork (42), the limit that the positions of two pedals of the conventional bicycle must have a difference of 180 degrees is overcome, the two feet do not need to apply force alternately, and the bicycle can be ridden with one leg.
