A vehicle control system includes: an operation unit disposed in a vehicle and operable by a driver; an operation detection unit configured to detect an operation on the operation unit, and including a displacement unit that is displaced according to an operation amount of the operation unit, and a detection unit that detects a displacement amount of the displacement unit and that outputs a continuous signal according to the displacement amount; and a control unit that inputs the continuous signal detected by the detection unit and performs a predetermined control corresponding to the continuous signal is provided.

Four-wheel off-road vehicle having an anti-lock braking system assembly

An off-road vehicle has two front wheels and two rear wheels, the rear wheels being connected to a spool gear driven by a motor. The vehicle also has a left front brake, a right front brake and a single rear brake. Speeds of left and right front wheels are respectively monitored by left and right front speed sensors. A single sensor monitors a common speed of left and right rear wheels. Two user actuated braking input devices, for example a hand lever and a foot lever, may be used independently or concurrently to provide a braking command. An anti-lock braking system may use speed measurements from the various speed sensors to control selective application of pressure on the left front brake, the right front brake and the rear brake.

A personal mobility vehicle, such as a scooter, includes at least one battery and motor for powering at least one driven wheel. The vehicle also includes a braking assembly configured to isolate the motor from the at least one driven wheel such that power is terminated from the motor to the at least one wheel in response to a user engaging a braking assembly of the vehicle. The vehicle can include a switch or position sensor that interacts with the braking assembly to initiate the isolation of the motor from the at least one driven wheel and the switch or position sensor preferably is inaccessible to the foot of the user.

An adjustable rear wheel hood system has a movable hood, so to be longitudinally adjusted to accommodate shrinking wheels (due to wear), or other requirements. A longitudinal slot is aligned between the rear wheel hood and the deck, and after adjusting the hood-to-rear wheel separation to a desired amount, the hood is secured to the deck. Either the deck or hood is configured with the slot, while the other piece has holes and/or alignment features that align the pieces together, provide a way to secure the pieces together, and also prevent lateral movement of the hood. A similarly configured adjustable non-braking rear hood is described.

Foot brake structure for mobility device

A foot brake structure for a mobility device includes: a footboard having an upper surface extending in a plane direction and having a rear wheel at a rear thereof; and a friction plate positioned above the rear wheel, having a portion extending forward of the rear wheel and rotatably assembled to a rear end of the footboard by a rotating shaft, and having a lower surface brought into contact with or spaced apart from a surface of the rear wheel depending on whether or not the friction plate is rotated around the rotating shaft, wherein when the friction plate is rotated around the rotating shaft by an external force, the lower surface of the friction plate is brought into contact with the surface of the rear wheel, thereby applying a braking force to the rear wheel.

ACTUATOR DEVICE OF A BRAKING DEVICE AND A CLUTCH

An actuator device of a braking device and a clutch may have a pump provided with a single operating device for pressurizing a fluid by a float, and a first delivery circuit and a second delivery circuit fluidly connected to an outlet of the pump. The first delivery circuit may be fluidly connectable to a braking device, the second delivery circuit may be fluidly connectable to a clutch. The actuator device may have a diverter device suitable for fluidly connecting the output of the pump alternately with the first delivery circuit and with the second delivery circuit, so as to alternately actuate the braking device or the clutch.
