WATER CRAFT SUSPENSION ARRANGEMENT
A hull locating arrangement for a vessel is disclosed that has a body at least partially suspended above at least a first hull by at least one support. The hull locating arrangement includes for the first hull a forward locating linkage and a rearward locating linkage, each of the forward locating linkage and the rearward locating linkage being connected between the first hull and the body to together constrain said hull in the lateral, longitudinal, roll and yaw directions relative to the body. The forward locating linkage includes a forward radius arm and a drop link, the drop link being pivotally connected to the radius arm. The rearward locating linkage includes a rearward radius arm connected between the body and the first hull.
Device and method for securing a watercraft
In accordance with one embodiment, a servicing watercraft that may be safely secured to a serviced watercraft. The servicing watercraft comprises at least one auxiliary section that may be positioned to either a) increase the effective width of the servicing watercraft thus reducing rolling motion while the servicing watercraft is stationary or in operation, OR b) decrease the width of the servicing watercraft thus reducing drag while the watercraft is moving through the water. Furthermore, the auxiliary section(s) help the servicing watercraft to be positioned in an optimum location adjacent to the serviced watercraft as to avoid impact from accidently dropped cargo or shipping containers from the serviced watercraft.
MARINE VESSEL
A marine vessel (100) comprising: propulsion means (118, 134); a hull section (102); a body section (104) connected to said hull section via at least one stanchion (106, 108, 110, 112); and the body section and the hull section being movable relative to each other via said at least one stanchion.
Suspension-based collapsible strakes for watercraft and watercraft including the same
A watercraft includes a hull having inner and outer surfaces and at least one collapsible strake coupled to the hull. The collapsible strake includes a movable skin hingedly coupled to the hull. The collapsible strake also includes a dampening element and a negative stiffness element each extending from an inner surface of the movable skin to the outer surface of the hull. The movable skin is configured to rotate between an uncollapsed configuration having a first stiffness and a collapsed configuration having a second stiffness greater than the first stiffness.
Container ship and container handling method
To be able to improve the flexibility in handling containers, a container ship configured to transport containers includes: an opening 106 through which cargo may be handled by moving a wheeled platform 501 between the container ship and a dock, the wheeled platform 501 including a plurality of containers 401 placed thereon; and a floor board 108 or a rail configured to support the wheeled platform 501 loaded from the dock through the opening 106.
Boat with reconfigurable running surface for wake adjustment
A watersports boat includes a hull having an underside extending from a forward bow to n aft transom along a longitudinal centerline. The underside defines a running surface that contacts water when the hull moves therein. The underside includes one or more features that enhance the boat's performance.

Wake diverter
In various embodiments, a wake diversion system operates to manipulate the characteristics of the stern waves produced by a watercraft as it passes through water. In one embodiment, the wake diversion system includes a wake diverter that is comprised of a body, a panel, and a plurality of boat attachment mechanisms. The wake diverter is removably attachable to the side of the hull of a watercraft such that it obstructs the natural flow of water around the hull of the watercraft on side of the watercraft to which it is attached.
