The watercraft generally comprises at least one hull in communication with a folding collapsible frame, wherein in the frame comprises a center rack pivotally joining hulls of hull sets to provide for common pivoting of the hulls during articulation of the watercraft, thereby the hulls and frame are in further communication through a at least one pivot pad which provides for slidable pivoting of the hulls during articulation of the watercraft. A method of folding and reversibly extending the watercraft to provide for optimized storage is provided. A method of operation of the watercraft to provide for articulation of the watercraft is provided.
Modular flotation device
A modular flotation device comprises a first elongated rigid pontoon module comprising a first pontoon section and a second pontoon section, a second elongated rigid pontoon module comprising a third pontoon section and a fourth pontoon section, and an intermediate frame module comprising longitudinal members extending substantially parallel to the first and second elongated rigid pontoon modules, and lateral members extending substantially perpendicular to the first and second elongated rigid pontoon modules. The first, second, third, and fourth pontoon sections can comprise identical connection profiles and are interchangeable with one another.
Multihull stepped planing boat with multiple independent elastic planing surfaces
A multihull stepped planing boat with multiple independent elastic planing surfaces includes: a main hull, X front planing sub-hulls arranged side by side under a front portion of the main hull, and Y rear planing sub-hull arranged side by side under a rear portion of the main hull; wherein X and Y are positive integers, and 3≤X+Y≤8; the X front planing sub-hulls are equally spaced, and the Y rear planing sub-hulls are also equally spaced; there is a gap between the X front planing sub-hulls and the Y rear planing sub-hulls. The planing surface of the main hull is formed by a plurality of independent and spaced sub-planing surfaces. There is a certain elastic buffer space between each sub-planing surface and the main hull, and the shock absorption structures can absorb most of the shocks, thereby reducing the impact of water surface waves during high-speed navigation.
Modular Floatation Device
A modular flotation device comprises a first elongated rigid pontoon module comprising a first pontoon section and a second pontoon section, a second elongated rigid pontoon module comprising a third pontoon section and a fourth pontoon section, and an intermediate frame module comprising longitudinal members extending substantially parallel to the first and second elongated rigid pontoon modules, and lateral members extending substantially perpendicular to the first and second elongated rigid pontoon modules. The first, second, third, and fourth pontoon sections can comprise identical connection profiles and are interchangeable with one another.
Floating catamaran production platform
A catamaran oil production apparatus is disclosed for producing oil in a marine environment. The apparatus includes first and second vessels that are spaced apart during use. A first frame spans between the vessels. A second frame spans between the vessels. The frames are spaced apart and connected to the vessels in a configuration that spaces the vessels apart. The first frame connects to the first vessel with a universal joint and to the second vessel with a hinged connection. The second frame connects to the second vessel with a universal joint and to the first vessel with a hinged or pinned connection. At least one of the frames supports an oil production platform. One or more risers or riser pipes extends from the seabed (e.g., at a wellhead) to the production platform (or platforms). In one embodiment, the production apparatus includes crew quarters.
HUMAN POWERED CATAMARAN-STYLED WATERCRAFT AND METHODS
An apparatus and methods according to the present invention provides a human powered catamaran-styled watercraft and methods of configuring and operating the watercraft.
MODULAR MULTIPURPOSE OFFSHORE OPERATION PLATFORM, INTEGRATED WORK PLATFORM, AND TRANSPORTATION METHOD
A modular multipurpose offshore operation platform comprises a floating structure having a lower portion submerged below the surface of the sea, and a platform structure provided at an upper surface of the floating structure. An integrated work platform comprises at least two modular multipurpose offshore operation platforms. Framework structures of two adjacent operation platforms are detachably and fixedly connected, and floor boards of the operation platforms collectively form a deck. A transportation method transports goods to the platform by means of a hoist, and a hoist bracket with a rotating roller. The platform can achieve standardized production, and is flexible and has multiple functions.
Method to form a reconfigurable multihull multiplatform floating vessel
A method to rapidly form a reconfigurable multihull multiplatform floating vessel includes installing a plurality of pin connectors on a plurality of longitudinal hulls, installing a plurality of joints on the plurality of longitudinal hulls, positioning the plurality of longitudinal hulls with the plurality of pin connectors and the plurality of joints proximate each other, mounting a first moveable planar platform having a first end and a second end with the first moveable planar platform mounted a preset distance above a load line of the first longitudinal hull, mounting a second moveable planar platform having a first end and a second end, forming a platform void extending between pairs of moveable planar platforms to provide increased safety for equipment and personnel on the moveable planar platform by preventing impact together of longitudinal hulls, and forming a hull void extending between pairs of longitudinal hulls.
MULTIPLE HULL FOLDING BOAT
A collapsible folding boat that includes two or more hulls. The individual hulls can either be directly connected together or connected using one or more structural members. In addition, the multiple hull folding boat can make use of inflatable air chambers and/or rigid components as part of its final assembly. The multiple hulls of the multiple hull folding boat can also be separated for use as individual collapsible boats. The multiple hull folding boat can include one or more seats for use by persons in the boat, and these seats can be placed in a lateral or longitudinal arrangement.
