WATERCRAFT CONTROL METHOD, WATERCRAFT CONTROL PROGRAM, WATERCRAFT CONTROL SYSTEM, AND WATERCRAFT
A control method for a watercraft is used for the watercraft including a device that requires authentication of identification information for activation, and has reading processing, authentication processing, and activation permission processing. In the reading processing, the identification information is read by each of plural reading sections, each of which is mounted on a hull of the watercraft and can read the identification information. In the authentication processing, the identification information, which is read in the reading processing, is authenticated by referring to authentication information. In the activation permission processing, in the case where the identification information that is read by any one of the plural reading sections is successfully authenticated, the device is brought into an activatable state.
Configurable remote control system and method for a marine vessel
A remote control system for a marine vessel includes at least one fob and a configuration control system configured to detect available devices on the marine vessel to be controlled remotely for the marine vessel, generate a list of available functions for at least one user-selectable fob command based on the detected available devices, present the list of available functions to the user via a fob configuration user interface such that the user can select one or more functions in the list of available functions, identify a system command associated with each selected function so as to configure a set of system commands based on the user-selected functions, and store the user-configured set of system commands in association with the fob identification and the selected fob command. The system further includes a helm transceiver module to effectuate activation/deactivation of the available devices based on the user-configured set of system commands.
Scuttle module for field configurable vehicle
A field configurable autonomous vehicle includes modular elements and attachable components. The vehicle can be assembled from these modular elements and components to meet desired mission and performance characteristics without the need to purchase specially designed vehicles for each mission. The vehicle can include a module that enables the vehicle to be scuttled or destroyed.
FUEL CELL SHIP
An exemplary fuel cell ship is a fuel cell ship for propelling a hull by using electric power supplied from a fuel cell that generates electric power through an electrochemical reaction of fuel, and includes a compartment including an emission source of the fuel and a first detector arranged in the compartment to detect the fuel. If the first detector detects that a concentration of the fuel in the compartment is equal to or greater than a first threshold value, a power supply to a non-explosion-proof device in the compartment is stopped.
MARINE VESSEL PROPULSION SYSTEM, COMMUNICATION TERMINAL, AND KEYCODE SERVER
A marine vessel propulsion system includes a propulsive force generator to generate a propulsive force, a drive source to drive the propulsive force generator, and a controller configured or programmed to control the drive source to perform marine vessel maneuvering-related functions including at least one limited function. The controller includes an interface, and is further configured or programmed to include a restriction unit to restrict a control operation for the limited function, and a restriction cancellation unit to cancel the restriction effected by the restriction unit to permit the control operation for the limited function if a predetermined keycode is inputted from the interface or is registered in the controller.
System for sensing vehicle motion and environmental conditions
A system and method for deterring theft of a marine vehicles is provided. The system is designed to collect barometric pressure data and analyze it to determine whether there has been a sudden change in elevation that may be indicative of a theft. The system is also designed to collect environmental data pertaining to a marine vehicle's normal environment and compare it to a normal environmental state of the marine vehicle in order to detect changes that may be indicative of a theft. Additionally, the system is designed to monitor equipment of the marine vehicle and alert a user if the equipment has been moved in a way that may be indicative of a theft. When the system determines an event has occurred that may be indicative of a theft, the system may alert the user by triggering an alarm via a computer readable signal.
Marine Equipment Inventory Tool
A system and method for tracking marine equipment is provided. Generally, the system and method of the present disclosure are designed to generate indicia corresponding to the inventory level of marine equipment used for a particular marine activity. To facilitate the assignment of indicia reflecting the inventory level of marine equipment used for a marine activity, the system and method of the present disclosure uses a plurality of equipment profiles having a defined lower limit and quantity associated with each piece of marine equipment. The lower limit may be manually input or automatically generated. The quantity may be tracked by the system using equipment transmitters and equipment sensors. In a preferred embodiment, the indicia indicate whether the quantity of a piece of marine equipment has fallen below a certain specified level as defined by the user. Users may purchase new marine equipment from third-party retailers via the user interface.
Method and apparatus for monitoring the status of a boat
A status monitoring system and the devices used for the status monitoring system is disclosed. The status monitoring system includes a controller device, a plurality of rod monitoring devices, and a motor monitoring device which works together to provide a layered approach to securing the boat. The controller device is configured to communicate with a smart device via cellular network. The controller device triggers an alert once it detects unexpected events on the boat or receives intrusion notifications from other devices in the status monitoring system. Unexpected events can include the boat moving out of the geofence, boat vibration, and unexpected starting of the vehicle. A method for monitoring the status of the boat is also disclosed. The method can include receiving an activation signal, receiving a GPS signal, receiving vibration signals, energizing the siren and transmitting notification and boat location to the cloud when detecting at least one trigger.
BOAT
At least a portion of a setting pattern of functions relating to a boat is automatically changed in response to execution of activation operations different from one another. The boat includes a controller configured or programmed to activate the boat by each of a plurality of different activation operations. When an activation operation of the activation operations satisfying a first condition is executed, the controller sets functions relating to the boat with the first setting pattern. When an activation operation not satisfying the first condition is executed, the controller sets functions relating to the boat with a second setting pattern having setting contents at least partially different from the first setting pattern.
