A system for attaching accessories to a boat that is moveable between a first, stored configuration and a second, expanded configuration. The system includes a boat, a first leg frame member, a second leg frame member, an attachment device, a first support member, and a second support member. The first leg frame member has a proximal first end attached to the boat such that a portion of the first leg frame member is pivotable relative to the boat. The second leg frame member has a proximal second end attached to the boat such that a portion of the second leg frame member is pivotable relative to the boat. The attachment device is mounted to the first leg frame member and the second leg frame member. The first support member is attached to the first leg frame member and the second support member is attached to the second leg frame member.

Described herein are improved clamping and bracket systems and methods of using and installing same to enable, in one embodiment, a sailing vessel to deploy a sunshade, solar cell, or other surface from a boom-mounted clamp and bracket system wherein the clamp and bracket system does not impede boom or running rigging operation and allows for changing the horizontal position of the bracket system to reposition the sunshade, solar cell or surface, without unfastening or loosening the clamp(s) once installed, all without piercing, drilling into, or otherwise damaging the boom.

A holding device, capable of floating, is removably attachable to a gunwale of a boat or other object and is comprised of a basket member having a base frame for holding cargo. A vertically oriented vertical frame member extends upwardly from the base frame and together with a hook assembly, forms a variable width J-shaped hook to hook the device onto the boat. A pair of wheels is attached to the basket member with their distance relative to the base frame being variable. The wheels allow ground transport of the device and also to provide a support for a lower portion of the device against the side of the boat. The wheels also create a pair of flotation members should the device become dropped into the water. A height adjustable handle can be used to pull the device on the ground surface.

Couplers for attachment to a protrusion extending outward from a portion of a boat is provided. The coupler may comprise a base having an opening adapted to receive the protrusion, the base having a locked position and an unlocked position. The base being translatable along a first direction between the unlocked position and the locked position. The coupler may further comprise a retainer positioned to hold the base in the locked position; and an accessory support extending outward from the base in a second direction angled relative to the first direction.

An accessory system for a pontoon boat includes a support comprising longitudinal members and at least one support crosspiece connected between the longitudinal members, where the support can be attached to a structural component of a pontoon boat and move between a stowed position and a deployed position. An accessory component includes one or more hangers with a hook constructed to engage the support. A support portion is connected to the accessory component and extends transversely away from the one or more hangers. In use, the support can be deployed along a side of a pontoon with the accessory component removably attached to the support. The accessory component can be used to support a platform, a grill, a cooler or other accessory alongside the pontoon boat.

A cover for a transportation vehicle includes a cover body having a first portion and a second portion and a self-supporting anti-pooling system associated with the first portion of the cover body. When the cover is installed about the transportation vehicle, the first portion of the cover is raised relative to the second portion.

A pedestal for mounting a downrigger fishing device to the deck of a watercraft, with the pedestal having a support post, a base plate, a mounting plate, one or more reinforcing members, and one or more securing plates.

A boat bumper holder for retaining and/or storing one or more boat bumpers onboard of a watercraft so that the boat bumpers may be easily and/or readily stored, identified, and deployed. The holder includes parallel columns that support upper and lower plates which each define cut-outs allowing for the insertion of boat bumpers. The upper and lower plates may also have additional fender cut- outs attached to them and which align with each other to permit easy and ready storage of additional boat bumpers. The cut-outs of the upper and lower plates and of the fender cut-outs may vary in geometry (e.g., to allow the insertion of boat bumpers of various shapes and geometries).

A portable boat mounting device configured to be secured to a fixed seating area of a boat, is described. The portable mounting device includes a swivel seat assembly affixed to one or more mounting brackets. The swivel seat assembly includes a seat base affixed to one or more mounting brackets. The swivel seat assembly includes a mounting plate, affixed to the seat base forming a connection to each other with a rotational relationship about a common axis. The mounting plate includes a plurality of mounting slots configured to receive a fastening device. The mounting plate includes a seat base comprising one or more mounting slots configured to receive the fastening device.

A process for mounting an object within an adjustable device. The adjustable device can in turn be attached to a vehicle to hold the object to the vehicle. This adjustable device may be made larger or smaller to accommodate different sizes of objects. The adjustment of the adjustable device comes from the interaction of a set of one or more ribs on one piece with a set of channels on another piece.
