VESSEL WITH UNITARY BOW DOOR AND MULTI-FOLD RAMP
A powered water vessel includes a unitary section of the bow that is pivotably rotatable about a horizontal axis thereby permitting a closed-bow configuration and an opened-bow configuration. The closed-bow configuration is generally amenable to regular boat operations, while the opened-bow configuration is generally amenable to loading and unloading passengers, vehicles and/or cargo. A folding ramp assembly is extendable through the open-bowed configuration for loading and unloading, with track extensions providing additional extension distance.
FLOATING VESSEL FOR ENERGY HARVESTING
The invention relates to a floating vessel (1) for energy harvesting, comprising:a hull (2), and a wave power plant (10). The wave power plant comprises:an inlet (11) arranged to receive waves of water, said inlet (11) leading to a transport channel (12) arranged with an angle to convey and lift water entering the inlet (11),5said transport channel (12) leading to an elevated basin (13) arranged to receive water, and said basin (13) having an outlet to a turbine (14T) below said basin (13), said turbine (14T) running an electrical generator (14G) for converting the potential energy of the water to electrical energy.
PERSONAL WATERCRAFT
A hybrid personal watercraft combines features of pontoon boats and deck boats, in a cost-effective and versatile package. The watercraft includes port and starboard sponsons which combine a pair of outboard flotation cavities. A space below the deck and above the hull bottom creates at least one, and potentially up to three additional flotation cavities, which may also be used as storage areas accessible by an access door in the bow of the watercraft and/or a set of hatches in the deck. The watercraft may be efficiently produced assembled from polymer materials, such as thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO).
Passenger vessel with retractable, concealable bow gangway and method for deploying, retracting and concealing a passenger vessel's gangway
A passenger vessel 10 configured to moor along an improved or unimproved shoreline to load or unload the vessel via the bow includes a hull 20 having a movable, openable bow member 24 configured to be moved between a closed state and an open state which exposes the hull's interior volume and an extendable and steerable ramp assembly 14 including an elongated extendable ramp member 78 configured to be stowed in the hull's interior when the bow member is in the closed state. The ramp member is extendable by being conveyed forwardly through the bow opening to define a distally projecting ramp extension supported and steerable (vertically and laterally) from a pivot or swing mount frame 84 affixed within the hull 20.
Hydraulic bow door apparatus
A hydraulic bow door apparatus, comprising a bow door movably mounted on a deck by a hinge shaft, the bow door comprises a doorframe and a door leaf hermetically mounted together, the front side of the doorframe is mounted with a hydraulic actuating cylinder, the cylinder body of the hydraulic actuating cylinder is hinged with the doorframe, the end of its piston rod is hinged with the hinge shaft through a first connecting rod assembly, after the piston rod of the hydraulic actuating cylinder is pushed out, the bow door is turned into a horizontal placement state; and the front side of the bow door is mounted with a foldable guardrail assembly. The hydraulic bow door apparatus ensures the protective security of a passage which is formed after the bow door is connected to dock.
LNG tank container transport ship, and transport method using same
An LNG tank container transport ship, according to one embodiment of the present invention, which has a load space on the inside thereof, in which LNG tank containers storing liquefied natural gas are loaded, comprises: a crane which is arranged on the upper part of the load space so as to catch a container to be transported; at least one horizontal transport frame which guides the horizontal direction movement of the crane; and at least one vertical transport frame which is connected to the horizontal transport frame so as to guide the movement of the crane in the direction perpendicular to the horizontal transport frame. According to one embodiment of the present invention, there is an effect of providing a dedicated transport ship for LNG tank container transport by having therein a separate load space so as to load LNG tank containers.
Trolling motor anchor mount
A trolling motor mount intended for a larger watercraft having a bow-mounted anchoring system, with the trolling motor mount having a horizontal mounting platform, a vertical extension member, and a shank, with the horizontal mounting platform being suitably configured to attach a standard trolling motor thereto, the shank being suitably configured to attach to the anchoring system of the watercraft in place of the anchor, and the vertical extension member being of sufficient length to allow the trolling motor to properly reach the water when the trolling motor mount is securely attached to the watercraft by the anchoring system.
