FLOATING ISLAND CONSTRUCTION METHOD FOR OVERALL TRANSPLANTATION OF SANDY SOIL PLANTS

Disclosed is a floating island construction method for overall transplantation of sandy soil plants, the method comprising the following steps: separation from a surrounding soil body; construction of a buoyancy tank device (13); and waterproof construction, so as to construct a plant floating island from plants to be transplanted in a reservoir area. The floating island protects all the root systems of the plants and most of the undisturbed soil, improves the survival rate, preserves the unique landscape of an original habitat, and can be constructed at the same time as water conservancy project construction, which saves on the construction period, saves costs, and is convenient for on-site overall scheduling.

Grooved stackable panel for floating cultivation of plants

Panel for floating cultivation of plants on water, including parallel grooves at a top side extending longitudinally, adapted for receiving a substrate and a number of plants or precursors in the substrate, each groove extending through the panel from a first top plane to a second parallel plane. The panel includes air chambers at a lower side extending substantially below the second plane, each of the air chambers allowing therein formation of air roots of plants supported in the substrate of the grooves. At the second plane, each groove is spaced apart from the circumferential side wall of the air chamber it debouches in when projected onto a plane normal to the longitudinal direction, each of the grooves including at least two side support surfaces extending parallel to the groove and below the top side, the side support surfaces adapted for substantially completely supporting the substrate in the groove.

Embodiments of a hydroponic growing system include raft segments that can be reversibly attached together to form a raft. Rafts can have one or more plant holes to support a plant body, and one or more thermal chimneys to provide for gas transport from underneath the raft to the upper surface, to control temperature and humidity of the plant. Additional embodiments include wireless sensors that may or may not be part of a raft, and a growing environment control system that can receive data from one or more sensors of environmental conditions of a plant and in other embodiments, can detect discrepancies between the actual environmental conditions and desired conditions. In still further embodiments, a growing environment control system can automatically adjust an actuator to return an environmental condition to a desired state.

System and method for off-shore and in-shore aquaculture using floating closed containment farming and amalgamated facility

An aquaculture production and/or transfer system is provided and comprises: at least one floating aquaculture production apparatus on a novel offshore advanced hull system of varying shapes for closed containment method and ecological friendly for sustainable floating farming system (which may be marketed under Eco-Ark™); a station keeping apparatus coupled to the aquaculture production apparatus; a custodian transfer apparatus having a custodian chamber, a chute and a pump, wherein the custodian chamber is fluidly coupled to at least one of the tanks to receive live aquatic animals therefrom, wherein the chute is configured to transfer live aquatic animals to an amalgamated facility.

Floating hydrophyte planting device

The present invention relates to a floating hydrophyte planting device, comprising a height-adjustable support, a buoyant rope, a planting net rope, a stabilizing rope and hydrophytes. The height-adjustable support comprises a fixed part and a movable part. The fixed part comprises columns and inclined stayed and fixed steel wires. A sawtooth groove is arranged on one side face of the column in the height direction and has multiple notches at different heights. The movable part comprises a twisting pull rod. The twisting pull rod is provided with a cross locking column vertical to the body of the twisting pull rod. The locking column is limited in the notch. After the twisting pull rod is twisted, the cross locking column may separate from the notch; after the twisting pull rod moves in the vertical direction and is twisted again, the cross locking column is limited in another notch.

MODULAR FLOATING TERRITORY
20220250721 · 2022-08-11 · ·

A floating territory made of a semi-rigid floating structure. The structure is able to follow the upward and downward movement of the waves. It can be installed as well close to the shores as in high sea, carrying a rigid structure. Said rigid structure acts like a bridge between the waves and provides a substantially stable surface for the installation of structures for human activity. Said rigid structure remains above the water level. The floating territory can be stabilized in position dynamically by propellers compensating the movement of the streams and/or winds, or by submersed weights attached to said rigid structure, or by pillars planted in the ground attached to said rigid structure. This leaves a vertical freedom of movement to follow the movement of the waves or the tides.

An artificial floating island includes a lower mounting and an upper mounting. The upper mounting includes a bottom wall and a surrounding wall that cooperatively define an internal space. The surrounding wall has service openings and root through holes. The upper mounting has internal blocks, each having a block body that is connected between the bottom wall and the surrounding wall, and that defines a service space disposed outside of the upper mounting and being in communication with a respective one of the service openings. The lower mounting is coupled to the upper mounting and has an outer surface that is formed with a plurality of guiding troughs.
