Oar-carrying device
The oar-carrying device is adapted for use with one or more oars used in sculling or rowing. The oar-carrying device comprises an arcuate shaft to which one or more oars are attached thus allowing the one or more oars to be carried in a controlled manner. The arcuate shaft further comprises a plurality of fasteners that attach the one or more oars to the arcuate shaft. The oar-carrying device comprises an arcuate shaft, a plurality of oar plates and a plurality of fasteners.
Deep-water submersible system
A deep-water submersible system is disclosed. The system can include a pressure vessel and an internal assembly. The internal assembly can include a housing and a wedge lock assembly coupleable to the housing. The wedge lock assembly can include a plurality of wedge members arranged along a longitudinal axis and including end wedge members at each end and one or more intermediate wedge members between the end wedge members. The wedge lock assembly can also include a displacement device along the longitudinal axis and connecting the end wedge members. The displacement device can be actuatable in one direction to move the end wedge members toward one another to displace adjacent wedge members relative to one another in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis to engage and apply a clamping force to the housing and the pressure vessel. In addition, the wedge lock assembly can include a variable gap compensation mechanism operable to exert a biasing force on the plurality of wedge members to accommodate the relative transverse movement of the adjacent wedge members and maintain the clamping force on the housing and the pressure vessel within a predetermined range as a distance between the housing and the pressure vessel varies.
HUMAN POWERED CATAMARAN-STYLED WATERCRAFT AND METHODS
An apparatus and methods according to the present invention provides a human powered catamaran-styled watercraft and methods of configuring and operating the watercraft. The watercraft generally comprises at least one hull in communication with a folding collapsible frame, wherein in the frame comprises a center rack pivotally joining hulls of hull sets to provide for common pivoting of the hulls during articulation of the watercraft, thereby the hulls and frame are in further communication through a at least one pivot pad which provides for slidable pivoting of the hulls during articulation of the watercraft. A method of folding and reversibly extending the watercraft to provide for optimized storage is provided. A method of operation of the watercraft to provide for articulation of the watercraft is provided.
Human powered catamaran-styled watercraft and methods
An apparatus and methods according to the present invention provides a human powered catamaran-styled watercraft and methods of configuring and operating the watercraft. A method of folding and reversibly extending the watercraft to provide for optimized storage is provided. A method of operation of the watercraft to provide for articulation of the watercraft is provided.
Recon marine vessel
The present invention discloses a marine vessel with a monohedral v-shaped hull bow portion blending into catamaran hull sponsons, a center tunnel and individual terminal tunnels on each of the sponsons. This new hull design is capable of high speeds to travel to a desired location, while still providing platform stability and shallow draft of the catamaran shaped aft portion. A removable hull transom diffuser gate and a removable side hull deflector plate may be retracted and/or lowered to reduce the signature of the vessel underway. A retractable cockpit may be included to permit stacking of the marine vessels in order to allow multiple vessels to simultaneously be shipped in a C-130 or C-17 cargo plane to a distant location. This retractable cockpit may include a multi-positional pilot house which can be elevated for rough sea conditions with hinged windshield and side plates for protection from waves for the operators.
Modular recreational watercraft
A recreational watercraft system of interconnectable, inflatable tubes that can incorporate a configurable frame that may be removably affixed at different vertical heights to attachment brackets that are axially strapped around the inflatable tubes. A plethora of accessories are available to accommodate, oars, paddles, masts, motors and the like, depending on what watercraft shape has been assembled. It can be assembled into a canoe, raft, motorboat, sailboat, fishing float etc.

TRANSPORTABLE OUTBOARD MOTORS
A transportable outboard motor has a midsection and a tiller extending forwardly from the midsection. The tiller is pivotable about a lateral tilt axis into a downward tilt position in which the tiller is oriented transversely to the lateral and longitudinal directions. The tiller in the downward tilt position is configured to permit manual carrying of the transportable outboard motor.
