DEVICE FOR RECOVERING A VESSEL AT SEA
20230019770 · 2023-01-19 ·

A device for recovering a vessel at sea from a surface station, the recovery device includes a cradle with negative buoyancy, intended to support the vessel, a lifting device comprising an upper frame and a set of hangers connecting the cradle to the upper frame, lengths of the hangers being variable so as to make it possible to raise and lower the cradle, a guide float capable of having a predetermined positive buoyancy, the guide float being interposed between the cradle and the upper frame so that the cradle is intended to support the guide float during the raising of the cradle, the guide float being configured and connected to the cradle in order to guide the vessel moving on the surface of the water with a speed of movement comprising a positive component along an axis x associated with the upper frame, toward a front part of the guide float when the guide float has the predetermined positive buoyancy, the guide float being in connection with three degrees of freedom in rotation with the cradle.

Device and method for lifting a watercraft using a chain

A recovery apparatus and a recovery method is disclosed for recovering a watercraft, in particular for recovering a boat on board a mother ship. A frame actuator pulls a frame of the recovery apparatus relative to a carrying structure from a recovering position into a parked position. A chain drive moves a chain relative to the frame along a closed curve. The chain comprises at least one driver. A watercraft to be recovered is connected temporarily to the chain and is pulled out of the water by the movement of the frame relative to the carrying structure and by the movement of the chain having the drivers relative to the frame.

A nautical vessel docking and storage system attaches to a nautical structure. A system includes a cradle having support elements that include lower portions, proximate and distal side portions, and proximate and distal side abutments; a vessel securing element; a hinge for each proximate side portion; and a puller for transitioning the cradle between docking and storage positions.

Carrier Vessel with Tender Boat Storage
20230286617 · 2023-09-14 · ·

A watercraft includes a cavity on the front upper deck for storage and transport of a tender boat. The cavity conforms to a hull of the tender boat, accepting the tender boat such that the tender boat shifts minimally with movement of the watercraft. In some embodiments, a retractable crane deploys from beneath the front upper deck for deploying and retrieving the tender boat. When the tender boat is absent, optionally, a solid cover is placed over the cavity. When the crane is retracted, a cover covers the crane boom and crane mast.
