Shock mitigation seat and shock monitoring system
A shock mitigation seat 10 includes a plurality of individual shock absorbing members 16 resilient to compression from a shock impact. The shock absorbing members 16 are positioned one adjacent another and such that at a certain stage of compression an individual shock absorbing member 16 resiliently deforms and comes into contact with one or more adjacent individual shock absorbing members 16 which thereby increases resistance to further compression. The seat may be incorporated in a shock mitigation system 50 which has at least one sensor operable to detect a force and to provide a feedback signal indicative of the nature of the force and a memory record the incidence and severity of these forces and provides an indication of cumulative forces absorbed.

Limited swivel apparatus for a passenger seat
The present disclosure provides a swivel stop comprising a rotating member, a first boss coupled to the rotating member and a second boss coupled to the rotating member, and a second plate having a first interference surface and a second interference surface. An interference between the first boss and the first interference surface and the second boss and the second interference surface tends to limit the rotation of the rotating member with respect to the second plate. The swivel stop may further comprise a rail wherein the second plate is configured to translate along the rail.
FOLDABLE PLATFORM AND METHOD OF USE
An attachment device, along with associated components, and method of use are disclosed. The attachment device may be foldable, such as for stowing when not in use or for removal and storage. The device may include a connector, a platform, an at least one mounting bracket or other mounting feature. The connector component may be foldable or rotatable, or other components within the device may be foldable or rotatable or including rotating or other similar connection features. The connector may include a long arm and a short arm. The arms, or the orientation of the connector, may be inverted so as to allow different locations of the platform or other connected component or feature when the device is in a deployed configuration.
